I'm looking at putting a pedal before the Stomp so i can get a level input from different guitars. It's so if use a Tele' I'll have the same input as a Les Paul into the stomp. I just wondered if anyone had any good results from pedals. I'm thinking of the Boss LM-2

Hi, I've just updated to 3.8 and the main volume knob doesn't work. Is there a parameter that I need to change ? The manual says the knob is for the output and headphone volume

Hi, I've read the manual but just to make sure. The Pod express amps and cabs are fixed. For example you can't change a Fender clean for a AC30 ?

Hi At the moment I use a Helix LT which then feeds a Native Instruments KA 6 for inputting to the pc. If i were to buy Helix Native, what would be the best way of getting a clean signal from my guitar to the pc ? Would there be a preset that would do this ? or, would i plug into the native Instruments KA 6 ?

Could be the motherboard or it's drivers. Or Windows 11. You have to set up the BIOS (Steinberg have tips as do some some of the other companies like Presonus) Rule of thumb for me is, use gaming boards like Gigabyte or Asus ROG. These are built for audio / visual.

Hi I know they used the original Pod to get their sound. So the nearest I can find are these. https://equipboard.com/pros/steve-marker https://equipboard.com/pros/duke-erikson I think the Guild guitar has a lot to do with it as well.

Great, I've stolen that. I wonder if you could help with a Click 5 tone. I notice there's a 70's type of Les Paul tone to the songs but can't get anywhere near it. I'm listening to this track again, great track -

Hi I'm recording at Home using Cubase I'm struggling adding a guitar to an upfront mix. Having gone through different presets I'm thinking it's the Helix sounding as if the amp is too far back. It sounds like an amp is further back than the drums and bass. Can anyone recommend IR's to get this Amp In Room sound ? I've seen different ones on the internet but am not sure which would work

Hi I record using a PC. Should I let the PC boot first and then switch on the Helix ? or, should i switch on the Helix first ?

Hi I'm new to USB recording and am using Cubase 12 pro. In the manual it show that the connections to the studio speakers when recording should be from the XLR sockets. Is it OK to monitor from the 1/4" output sockets ? or, will it damage the equipment. Also how do i get to the global settings using the Helix Edit ?

I've just seen this as i have just bought some presets from the marketplace. It says i've used up 6 from 11 lifetime activations. Well, 5 of them are old machines that have been thrown away So if i deactivate all my old computers on the line 6 web site from the list will it start at 10 ?

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I'm doing this all wrong, I'm after a massive big stereo sound for recording. Are there any idiots guides to this ? every one seems to know what they're doing apart from me.
