same here. that's the one preset of fremens i hate because i cant use it because of what u said above. it craps a bigone each time i try and use it. and what sux is ive heard him ue it and its sounds so good! cant complain though 174 of them work brilliantly.

hey guys i wonder if i could ask for some help. im looking to safely power these pedals for use in the loops with helix. TC flashback x4 - Jamman solo xt- TC polytune 2 mini, and a digitech bad monkey.. thats just what i had before i got the helix , so i wanted to save dsp, by using them. atm the tc flashback is being used just as a guitar input - not turned on (when in the loop its got massive noise when on ) the other 3 i can live with but they all have there own power supplies because if i try and daisy chain anything it shiznits itself with noise. im looking to get some kinda of pedal power thing to make everything play nice. but i have no clue where to start. im hoping someone out there has these pedals and uses with helix. helix floor btw thanks guys much appreciated

for gain i just left it alone 18db, if u get 1 of the settings wrong it wont work how u want. dunccan would be better help i just used his settings with variax standard neck ph amp is british p-75 nrm with the fremen bigpackir no.87-lxtdr marshall 1 with a 10 band graphic eq after the ir sounds really close to guthries. even better mabey no need to buy a duck in a box now :)

yup. usb audio is fine on the usb3.0, its just when u use the helix editor it sometimes crapped itself. but it hasnt crapped out yet using the usb2. the right usb2, my pc has sooo many ports i think some are hubs mabey

ive got a variax standard plugged in through vdi, and an ibanez shred machine into the guitar input. i only use these 2 guitars so its great i can just pickup whatever guitar i want, and the patches stay the same , but u can tell when im not using the ibanez. because it doesnt sound like an ibanez. plus the hot single coils on the variax makes the level more even as well. sorry for ramblng and im not even sure i answered you lol

ive never owned a real pedal board.. but this is how i do it on helix as well. channel vol first then make sure nothing clips when u add a pedal to the chain. then turn it on and off and see if theres any volume jump with a db meter

i learnt recently that the channel volume is supposed to be used for leveling. i had been using the level of the ir or cab i still use both but it helps to know the channel vol on amps dont change the tone

thanks man . i have like 10 usb ports on the back of this pc. but i hadnt tryed them all (lazy), its going well so far 3 hours in. if it stays on all day ill post results

thankyou so much buddy for taking the time. i seriously was close to buying a wahrocker 5, but u saved me some cash. i knew the helix could do what i wanted. its just if u get one of those settings wrong it recks the whole thing. now i have some great settings to stArt with. they should have made your settings the default lol

but if i switch guitars i need new settings lol

hey guys i just saw guthrie govan use a wah rocker 5 autowah wah. can we make this sound with the filters in the helix? because ive been trying for days i cant get anything i like

i have this issue with win10 pc i cant be sure but i think whenever my pc lags abit. helix editor lollipops itself. i just unplug usb and replug and it works. or reboot works to. it might work for an hour. or all day. weird

if your in australia, the missions r to expensive for me. so i got 2 x of line 6 ex 1 . 100 bucks aus dollars. 200 for both :) works fine. ask oz noy :)
