i was planing on buying either a revv pedal or maybe the amp, but since i found out about this new update ive been holding off. gonna be a great day when it gets here.

i love the fremen patches the most. perfect for headphones or monitors. but after getting the powercab, i can just load up one amp and use lf raw mode and its great without even making a preset. just choose an amp and go. then i use the frfr mode for fremens patches

put the volume pedal right after the cab or ir. then ur delays and what not after that so you still hear them

no fremen i dont have my original bigpack purchase on ur website. i brought it before you had that website. the old link i have takes my to a different web address, not ur website. think back, where did you first put ur bigpack up to? because as i said its an old link so it only has old versions

ive been using those new placater presets you did, i just cant get into them, even though i like the amp. i always use ur heavy 5150 patches or the cali mkIV ones

some variax standards are complete dogs. i sold mine after a year of fighting with it in the editor. my chugga's didnt chug, but i play my friends and his is awesome. make sure u try it in the shop

gotta watchout with variax standards. some of them are dogs. from one to the next some sound great and feel great, but some can be dogs where palm muting is just wrong sounding. i always just used the mag son my variax standard. this type of thing is only with the standards. so make sure you try it first dont buy a variax standard online

thx for the replies guys, momentary cc does'nt work with the rc 505. i can get toggle cc to work, which is weird. so yeh i have to assign 2 foot switches on the helix, 1 to turn on the loop start record, and another foot switch to stop the record. so thats not much good. and also it never remembers what it triggered last, so u have to do a "prepare stomp" on the helix to get it to work the next time you stomp. i wonder if i could get a soft step midi foot controller and use that

midi dim value is a helix term. when you goto cc toggle for a footswitch, in the options it gives you a dim value and a lit value. (which mean the footswitch when dim, is just not on, and lit is on. the problem im having aswell is that it works fine in cc toggle mode but u have to press the footswitch a few times to make it work. in the rc 505 we are given cc# 1 to 95, and a toggle or moment switch. so what i think we need for helix is a way to reset it to the start or something. i just got it today so ill post more when i fiddle with it abit. theres a guy on youtube when you search for "boss rc 505 midi" he has hooked this up to a hardware sequencer would be awesome if someone could watch this and see how we would set up the helix to control the boss rc 505. will be a dream rig if possible. thx guys
