by the way...i think you all oversee one thing...after having released the hx stomp, line6 is going to reduce the hx effects price anyway sooner or later...in fact it is cheaper allready...and i´m pretty sure many people would prefer buying the hx stomp in hx effects format than the very, very small stomp...so i think, they could continue selling the hx effects for at least the same price or actually still more expensive than the stomp, if it ony had the amp models included...!!! that´s for sure!!!

nooo!!! in hx effects size...!!! not stomp!!! i don´t no why i should need that much flexibility with no switches...i need at least the size of the hx effects...!!!!

am i the only one to think those two units should change housings...wouldn´t it make much more sense to have the smaller housing for the fx only unit, and the bigger chassis for the bigger unit...???

see...that is pretty poor information for me...actually i´d be interested in why line6 chose such an unknown pedal for cloning it and then make it the only pedal to give them more parameters than the original has got...???

can anybody tell me where to find infos concerning the KWB boost pedal...? parameters...examples...etc? i can´t even find very much about the original...;-)

i´d like to make my expression pedal in toe down position make my fx block turn on, while in heel down make it bypass this fx...now at the moment, it´s the other way round...it´s on in heel down position and off in toe down position...can i somehow get what i want...? (without changing the global setting of course!) thank you

i´d really like to have totally short audio cables...so i was actually thinking about buying the helix rack and place it near my amp...but there´s been some points why i chose to not do that...(can´t even remember why in this moment...;-))

yes...talking about the hx fx and stomp...i´d wish it to be anaog bypasses the moment i switch the last fx block off...couldn´t that be solved...? thanks

i´m thinking about buying two hx stomps and use them in 4cm , one in front of the amp, and one in the fx loop...i could place both units besides tha amp and achieve very short cable runs...(of course it would be ideal, if turnig off the last fx block could automatically turn the unit into true bypass mode...especially in front of the amp...) is it possible to manage both units via a bigger, external midi board...would it be possible to have as much switch control (presets and istant access) as you´ve got with helix...? if yes...which units would be great for controlling it that way...? thanks a lot!

why doesn´t turning off the last fx block automatically make the unit true bypass...? could that be solved via upgrade or is it technically impossible...? thanks

thank you...i´ve tried such an isolator...i do use a desktop pc...when i run everything with my tablet (adapter without ground) everything is ok...;-)...it´s the desktop pc...:-(

hey spikey, thanks...that´s been a good...i tried it with my tablet, and even with its´ power supply plugged into the same plug socket as the pc, there´s no hum....so it´s the pc...but is there anything i can do to change that...?? thanks a lot!

ok...i´ve opened a ticket and have to say, line6 can´t help me...;-(...that´s pretty poor support... (>You can try to insert DI boxes somewhere in the signal-path, sometimes a Hum-Eliminator also helps...) what now...do i need to buy several di boxes and hum eliminators and try to put them "somewhere in the signal chain"...??? come on....

no...i get this hum (pretty loud...i´m reading ca. -40dbFS on an analyzer in 1m distance...) in 4cm on my amp cab...as soon as i connect the hx fx via usb to pc...as i said...running the usb cable into a usb cable with repeater doesn´t help anything...and when i put a usb filter in between, the connection gets lost...;-(

no...peak is about between 150 and 250 Hz, i´d say...

hi....i´m having problems with usb ground loops, when connected with the pc...i´m running my hx fx in 4cm...as soon as i connect the hx fx with the via usb cable with the pc, i get this ground loop noise... can you tell me: is it maybe the usb cable...? could it be, i need a usb 3.0 cable or so...? i bought this HI FI ISAR540 usb isolator...when i plugged it in first, i was happy - the noise was gone...but two seconds later, the connection was gone as well...;-) i also tried it with a usb cable with repeater...didn´t connect either... any hints...? thanks a lot!

ah ok...that´s what i thought...that means you can have each snapshot have a different parameter on snapshot recall plus within this snapshot have a footswitch recall another parameter and fthen toggle between these two parameters...those two are the same then for all snapshots, right...? personally, i´m using snapshot one for clean and snapshot two for dirty...those two need different delay or reverb settings...cool were, if i could within this breset toggle between a lighter delay and a louder delay....so have #1A, #1B, #2A and #2B...;-)
