  1. Oddball question: Is there a way to use an expression pedal connected to helix as a way to rapidly switch between a series of entirely different presets or snapshots? Say, using the 0-10% or a single expression pedal for a Van Halen inspired preset, the 11-20% for a Djent-inspired preset, the 21-30% for a jazz fusion preset, the 31-40% for a polysynth, etc.? I'm reasonably familiar with presets, and snapshots, but what I'm asking about isn't using an expression pedal as a switch to turn on and off individual effects within a preset, but having the exp pedal serve like an additional set of toeswitches in preset mode that are quickly rotatable, whether using one of the EXP inputs or MIDI. A basic use case might be holding down a single note or chord and rocking the exp back and forth to create a swirling series of entirely different, independent guitar tones. Is it possible? If so, how?
  2. Hi all Just updated my Helix to 2.8 and Powercab to 2.0... been awaiting this update since I first bought helix... even sold my DT50 as I expected no helix dt50 connection would happen.... just to see it does now... nonetheless i am more than happy with my powercab plus. Now I have been a user of PODs since 2.0 and always have striven to get the max out of the amazing hardware Line 6 puts up.. and after all these years waiting to control my amp (DT50 112 before and now powercab plus 112) i get into a conundrum: Helix only allows powercab settings BY PRESET. With the advent of snapshots Line 6 did a HUGE, HUMONGOUS step that made a lot of us super happy... specially JTV Variax users like me... finally without any problems I could play acoustic and a banjo and an electric guitar IN THE SAME PRESET! But here is where it gets interesting... with powercab allowing only PER PRESET settings... I cannot change powercab presets PER Snapshot.... Yes i could do it all in the helix and use a FRFR for the preset but I didn't buy the PC Plus for that I bought it so I could use IRs and allow more power to be used in the helix.... I have looked but so far I can only see changing the powercab preset is not possible using snapshots... Any ideas?
  3. You may have noticed a feature in the Settings Menus on the Firehawk/Amplifi Remote app called Advanced Routing. This feature helps manage having multiple Firehawk/Amplifi devices when connected, so you could Airplay music to another Bluetooth device while still controlling tones on a particular device. It would allow you to airplay the music stream to something other than the Firehawk/Amplifi, while still controlling tones on the unit. If you pair two Firehawk/Amplifi to a single mobile device, you should see some additional options as well.
