  1. I play for my church and I am the only musician there so we run songs off of an IPad and into the soundboard. They want me to run the IPad into my 500x so I can play the songs through there and be in control of the set list. If in run it through the aux in would I be able to separate the signals so the sound man can turn my guitar up and down with out bit affecting the IPad? And vise versa. Can I run it through the midi? Or USb? Would I be able to control the music with a volume pedal on the 500x? Some of the songs tend to just cut off so I want to be able to fade the music when its about to end.
  2. I know the Helix LT doesn't have an Aux In to plug in a media player like the regular Helix or my old Pod HD500X. I love using my Pod as a practice unit, jamming over tracks I know when I plug my cell phone into it. Is there any other creative way to make audio go through a Helix LT, or do I have to spend another $500 for the regular Helix just to get that functionality?
  3. Is there a way to have the AUX IN simply be used to plug in a playback unit so I can play on top of pre-recorded music (using headphones)? I don't want my ipod that's plugged into the AUX IN to be colored by my guitar preset tones. Do I have to go out and buy a 2-channel mixer for this or can the Helix do it on its own?
  4. Can the AUX in be routed as a pass through?
  5. Is there a way to connect music output from device (phone, etc.) to AMPLIFI 150 via Mini-Stereo Audio jack cable? There is an "AUX in" and "Guitar IN" ports that I assume would be the only options...is there a specific converter cable I would need? If the answer is "no", I hope Line6 will add one in future model. I realize "just as speaker" may be a minor feature of this guitar amp (vs. Guitar amp itself!) but they do advertise it's use as a speaker on steroids (which is a nice feature for me). It would be really sweet if a DIGITAL IN could be added, although probably limited users (but FLAC files would probably sound even better). I like my Amplifi 150 but bluetooth connections have always had issues (intermittent disconnect, very limited distance/range) with all devices I've used (iphone&ipad/iOS, Samsun S6/andriod, Windows 10). Not saying it's Amplifi issue, but in general that's my experience). Sometimes it's smooth and solid, but seems prone to "breakage". Another fundamental issue I've experienced with Bluetooth (I can't say I've had this with Amplifi, but other BT speakers/headphones) is "pitch change" where the sound warps/changes pitch....unbelievable this was considered "OK" for music quality (it feels like cheap low-res MP3 marketing of the 90s all over again).
  6. So, I just got the Amplifi 75 today, and everything works great - the bluetooth audio is pretty impressive and the bass and eq can be adjusted using equalizer on my android phone. However, when I connect the same android phone or the TV to the aux in, the output just sucks, like the volume is low, and everything is degenerated. Is this normal or did I get a faulty amp? Thanks much.
  7. Hi there, i was looking around several forum questions about the Aux in on the pod HD500X but i could not find nothing like this: I use my pod HD to make ambient music together with a very cheap keyboard connected to the aux in and a connected to the mic in. In the settings i have the line in input set to: Guitar + Aux and the line 2 input set to mic. ( which i changed several time without solving the following issue) When ie. i play something from the keyboard and record a loop of it it works ok, but then comes my issue: If i want to record other patter wether is from the mic or the guitar or wathever it just act very strangely. The loop recorder doesnt match with my start and stop clicks of the rec/overdub button. It just starts to make a short feedback loop from a very short piece of what i want to record. Is important for me to add that when i record only guitar it works without any issue and that i record one thing at a time, since of course i cannot play both instruments at same time neither try to record voice and guitar. I already tried: -change looper pre/post -Use input signal of keyboard as FX in -Change input sources to all possible matches. -Don't use the mic. -Record very short loops. Does someone can give me a hint with this? Thank you! Davit
