Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfibnuenvsp7bwo/ML Sound Lab FREE Recto.zip?dl=0 Try it with this better free IR as well: http://bit.ly/MLSoundLab So I've been tweaking modelers for a long time and the way I build presets is pretty unique. I have a bunch of real tube amps around and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of capturing that sound and recreating it perfectly with a modeler. Anyways have fun with the free sample of an ML Sound Lab Amp Pack and if you want to hear more about it please visit: http://www.ml-sound-lab.com

Hello everyone, I have a Helix connected to a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Solo head using 4 cable method. I am switching channels and solo channel using a Voodoo Labs Control Switcher via midi program change through the Helix using instant commands in my Snap Shots. Here is what I would like to accomplish, when I step on the expression pedal it enables the wah (which I have setup) and would like to have it send a program change to change the amp channel then when I return the pedal back to disengage the wah send another program change to change the amp channel. Can this be done? Thanks in advance, Mike

Im trying to find a way to run my Helix LT live. Before i got it, my rig was a dual rectifier+ pedalboard into a Mesa 4x12, but i also use an EVH 5150iii and a Peavey 5150 both into their own EVH 4x12's for an overly bulky live stereo set up. Now, with the EVH/Peavey, i can plug into the fx return of both and get what i need coming out of the 4x12's, easily and simply like everyone says. But with my Dual Rectifier; holy cow is it noisy. Not only is there so much hissing, it is also just freakishly loud. By the time i get to 'room volume' the vol. knob on the helix is so low it isnt useful. Iv read somewhere on here about a guy with a Mesa Mark IV and it sounded like he had a similar problem, but a solution wasnt posted. i tried the 4cm, but im trying to bypass the head altogether so i can simulate one. The EVH+Peavey rigs are not mine, so i need to figure out the problem with my Mesa, or find a little FRFR setup; in which case i can use some power amp recommendations. Also getting a 50w EVH doesnt sound bad as i know i can plug straight into that fx return. Or am i simply overlooking something with the Dual Rec? Its an older model and isnt the quietest on it own; especially in the fx loop. But it should still be useful, right?

Hello everyone. I need help with how to wire my newly purchased Line 6 Helix and all my other gear. I am somewhat new to setting up all these effects, cables, noisegates and whatnot.. I need a specific step by step way to connect following: Guitar, Line 6 Helix, Mesa Boogie Gridslammer (Overdrive pedal to tighten it up), Ernie Ball Volume pedal, Ibanez Weeping Demon (Wah pedal) , ISP Decimator Pro Rack G (Rack mounted noise gate with 2 channels - This is the one I am having issue with connecting properly), DBX 266 XL (Rackmounted compressor) and last but not least my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier.... Which goes where? What goes in the loop? What does not? I could really use someone who knows his gear to help me with this cable nightmare. Thank you very much -Zilver90

Here is a video I did comparing the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier (Red Channel) vs the Pod HD Pro X Treadplate model. I just did this as a comparison video just to see how close I could get the Pod to sound like the Rectifier using only the effects, amps, and cabs available in the Pod. They are somewhat similar, but I like both the sounds and would have no problem using either one on a recording.
