  1. It's clear that AMPLIFi is based on the old architecture from XT/X3/PodFarm. My question is, will we be able to load our custom tones built using those tools? And along with that does AMPLIFi come with all the model packs from PODFarm Platinum and support dual tone modes?
  2. Greetings L6 Kin. Last week I tried to do a dual tone to record my acoustic-electric guitar. Tone 1 input is direct from my guitar. Tone 2 input is XLR from my phantom power for my Rode mic. I could only get Tone 1. I have read and re-read the manual and watched the You tube videos several times. I record with the Rode mic all the time. I do lots of vocals using X3Live from my phantom power box to X3L with no issues. Suggestions appreciated :)
  3. If you connect only the Left input, the signal is split to L+R stereo out (since L is the standard mono input). But shouldn't the Right in/out path be separate from the Left in/out path if both ins and both outs are connected? What I am trying to accomplish is this: a dual amp rig using an ABY to feed the M5 inputs, then the L & R outputs to 2 amps. GTR---->ABY---->M5----> 2 Amps [A --> Left in; B -->Right in / L out---> Amp 1, R out---> Amp 2] With both inputs connected, I expected the stereo outs to be 2 independent paths so I can toggle between amps, or blend both via the ABY. The Problem: I only see that behavior if the patch is turned off, defeating the purpose. It doesn't seem to matter if I send A, B, or A+B to the M5, both outputs active sending signal to both amps. Is this normal behavior, or a bug? Is there an update perhaps where this is possible? I am using the M5 primarily as a Tube Comp with the EX1 sweep set to playing level (heel) and lead boost (toe), so I could put the ABY after the M5 and run it in mono, but I'd really like to take advantage of the occasional Stereo FX when running dual Amps. If I can only get the L out to be independent of the R out...I'd be in Tone Heaven. Any Suggestions?
  4. If I like a preset on the pod x3 can I save it directly to an empty destination or do I have to try to recreate it. I want to create dual vocal tones with an existing preset e.g Studio Vocal. Thanks
  5. I need a solution that brings together the microphone harmonica and electric guitar into one amp with the ability to define different effects for each instrument. I'm using the FLEX RACK AMPLIFIED HARMONICA HOLDER (HI-Z NOS Crystal microphone) with a 1/4-inch input, and my guitar is a Gibson SGJ. Can I do this using the POD HD Desktop or POD HD 500X?
  6. Français Deutsch The Line 6 Guitar Amp within Reason can only handle single tone presets, there is no way to load a POD Farm 2 Dual Tone preset into a single Line 6 Guitar Amp device. However, if you were to split the Dual tones and save each tone as its own individual preset, you can load each preset into it's own Line 6 Guitar Amp within Reason and put then together using a Combinator device with mixer. Just select a Dual Tone you would like to use within the Standalone version of POD Farm 2 and click the 'DUAL' button to the right of the preset name at the top of the window and select 'Remove TONE B' first, then, select FILE>SAVE AS... to save the new single preset with 'Tone A' added at the end of the preset name. Next, reload the original Dual Tone, click the 'DUAL' button once again and select 'Remove TONE A', then select FILE>SAVE AS... to save this single tone preset with 'Tone B' added at the end of the preset name. Now, within Reason, you can create a Combinator, then a Mixer, and 2 Line 6 Guitar Amp devices, each with one of these new presets loaded into the device (Tone A in one, Tone B in the other), and summed together again with another mixer.
