Hi all, Ive seen some info on this pedal but I just wanted to find out if the expression pedal toe switch will work on the HX effects unit?? If not I might as well get one of the Nektar ones or something similar? Just wondering what peoples set ups are for using the hx effects with expression pedals, would love to use the toe switch but doesnt seem like Its possible??

Hi Everyone, I hope that you are all healthy and doing OK in these difficult times. I'm considering buying the HX stomp and have 2 questions: 1) Is it possible to control snapshot select, preset select , tuner select etc. via MIDI through USB (USB OTG-cable) through an Android-phone ? 2) Is it possible to place an A/B split first in the signal chain and control the volume going to both paths with an expression pedal (Line 6 EX-1) and to do volume swells this way? I know the panning between path A and B with an expression pedal is possible, but I want to do volume swells (both paths simultaneously) this way. Thanks in advance . Have a nice day, T

For the Helix Floor, is there a way to control the volume of the USB 1/2 out with the EXP Pedal? I can control the volume with the volume knob but for stage performance, I would like to use the EXP pedal. I am connecting the Helix via USB to my laptop or iPad to play tracks. Thanks!

If you're using the FBV 3, or the FBV Shortboard MKII with the Spider V series, you have the option of utilizing an external expression pedal. The external pedal would be plugged into the EXP Pedal jack on the FBV. This is how they interact with the Spider V's patches. On patches without tweak assign to pedal, the external pedal becomes volume, the on-board pedal controls wah position, and toe switch toggles wah bypass. On patches with tweak assigned to pedal, the external pedal controls the tweak-assigned parameter. The on-board pedal controls volume and wah, and the toe switch toggles between wah and volume control.

Hi guys! I'm using the pitch glide and the exp pedal on my POD HD500x to do the whole whammy thing and it's working quite well. The thing that bugs me though is that the mix of the effect doesn't seem to go to 0% while having the exp in heel position. The result is that I'm getting a chorus type sound instead of no pitch glide at all. Is this possible to achieve or is it just how the pitch glide works? I have tried to calibrate the exp pedal. Thanks! /Danne

Hi guys! So far, I have no problems with my POD HD500X and I actually found my desired tone.. but I only noticed that as I lower the volume through my expression pedal, the gain seems to decrease too. Is that normal? I just don't find it hurting the tone especially when doing swells. Is there any way to fix it? I hope you could help, guys. TIA!
