Hello, I am working on a MIDI controller with LED displays and I would like to use a backup file (format .hls) to retrieve the name and footswitch default status (i.e. what FS is on/off for each snapshot when I go to the preset or change snapshot etc). Since I don't change my setlist that frequently I am not trying to read directly from the unit but instead hard code the names and behaviors based on the .hls. I use a JSON parser to decode the .hls file and see there is a section called footswitch Here is an example (see full file in attachment) 'footswitch': {'dsp0': {'block0': {'@fs_enabled': True, '@fs_index': 5, '@fs_label': 'Volume ' 'Pedal', '@fs_ledcolor': 65408, '@fs_momentary': False, '@fs_primary': True}, 'block1': = etc.. Based on that, I originally assumed that each @fs_index would refer to a footswitch with @fs_enable for the status. However, that doesn't seem to be the case because I have a few setups with @fs_index > 5. To make things more confusing, I also see some presets without the 'footswitch' blocks though there are setup in the unit. Has anyone be able to understand how the hsl file work for the foot-switches assignment ? Any guidance on how to interpret the structure of this file ? Thank you. Pat. Test.txt

-- Help. -- I installed 3.15 on my Helix LT. After 3.15 was installed, my Footswitch Setup for my Presets disappeared. My "Before 3.15 Footswitch Setup" was: FS8-FS11 = Snapshots 1 through 4; FS2-FS5 = my choice of four different effect blocks. -- I don't want to seem too uninformed, but how do I re-setup/replicate/reinstall my "Before 3.15 Footswitch Setup"? -- Thanks, Richard

I just updated my POD HD500 to the latest flash memory (2.62), and although everything appeared to go smoothly, on restart (which seemed to go fine), ALL the switches no longer work at all - knobs, foot switches, expression pedals ... everything. It doesn't show up on USB anymore, and I can't even do a factory reset on the unit because nothing works on it. The screen seems to think all is well and shows the first patch I have, but I can't do anything at all. Do I have any options?

I am trying to make an extra footswitch for the hx stomp. I am using hx stomp. Using a trs to dual ts cable on footswitch 4/5, I'm going to use an expression pedal for 4 and a mini footswitch for 5 to change volume/wah. In this case, I am trying to DIY a single button footswitch. When I searched, I saw that the wiring of the footswitch and the amplifier channel switching switch were the same. And I found the video on YouTube. Is it possible to use it as an additional switch by making it like this and connecting it to fs4/5 with trs to dual ts? I don't speak English well, so I'm using a translator. Thanks for the help friends.

Hi everyone, I'm loving 3.0 and creating lots of snapshots and embedded looper controls. But I've got a problem. On one new preset I found that one press on a foot switch did not change the snapshot. Instead, it seem to 'preselect' and only change on the second press of that foot switch. Not the behaviour I want. And bizarrely, on a different preset - and in stomp mode - the switching works fine on a single press. The I'm sure it's my error and I've somehow changed a setting but I can't fathom it.
