matisq
Hello, I just did a short djenty test of my new HD500x :) I already had: HD300 X3 PRO I still have: AmpliFi FX100 XT PRO but HD 500x is the best I ever have :) Here you can download presets: :Djent Engl Rhythm: http://line6.com/customtone/tone/865767Djent Clean Wide: http://line6.com/customtone/tone/865764 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEam_k8f_34

duncann
Pretty cool. I noticed with the Djent Engl Rhythm patch, the EQs have way too much signal going into them. Even with the studio EQ with neutral settings when turned on has a really nasty over-driven/distorted/digital clipping type quality. Turning the mixer volume down fixes it sort of. I can start to hear this through headphones with the mixer at around -4dB. Maybe my guitar's pickups have something to do with it, which are evolutions, but putting EQs after the mixer is usually a bad idea, from my experience. The EQs in the pod are really quirky.

I needed that. Am I still cool if I still like DJENT? I feel kind of geeky after watching those.

Since I have EMGs I'm using PAD in Guitar in which gives me less saturation but more clarity.

For better clarity, you could also try assigning input 2 source to something not used, like variax or aux.
