PaulTBaker
Does anybody know of a way to printout the patches (including the settings) for the HD500x?
cruisinon2
I suppose you could print a screen shot of HD Edit window(s)...beyond that, I think you're out of luck.
DunedinDragon
Boy, would this ever make a WONDERFUL utility program. I might even be interested in building it myself if there were some reference somewhere to the formats used for preset and setlist files. Obviously the person that developed the conversion program decyphered them, but I don't know of any place that documents them.
PaulTBaker
Yes... this is really needed. they could add it to the edit program. I thought I saw a thread with this along time ago but I can't find it anywhere.
cruisinon2
It's gonna be a tough sell. Nobody wants hard copies of anything anymore. Just for my own morbid curiosity, what would you do with them anyway?

I'm curious too, Why? When you say nobody, it depends on the use. Maybe for an artistic collage on a Variax guitar, or some kind of product promotion or advertising? DunedinDragon
For me it would just be easier to see everything in one place to make comparisons about settings for planning purposes.
titchyblackcat
I agree i use them sometimes to save flicking between different screens. I use Prt Sc and C on the keyboard then open Accessories - paint. Once open just select new and then paste. This then enables you to print the page from there. I've also printed maybe a page of a manual so i can have the program open on the pc and not have to keep changing it for a pdf.

You can read patch names and byte values. I actually did it as a website and people would print oit patch names. I did a few core values but did not fight through every param. What you have to do is make a minor change the see where the change in the file is. Repeat watching min and max. For that bundle it was predictable where the params were. I bet the newer files are the same. It's just more effort than it was worth for me. But it can be done. I can tell you there is lots of stated interest for it but you will not make much money. Like pizza money. For ine family. One meal. It was fun but I wouldn't want to do it again. Read the bytes in the file, parse based on what younsee change. PaulTBaker
I would like to have a quick reference to see all the settings for the patches... print screen could work, but I would have to have 4 screens for each patch... Thanks for the replys!
