Bikedude
I've seen one guy for sure use the Scotch double sided tape to safely stick the Helix on a pedalboard. My question is, maybe I missed it, is it ok to take the feet off, and then re use the screws before taping?
soundog
Given the weight of the Helix and the physics of inertia, I'd be nervous about just using tape to hold down my Helix. Industrial strength velcro, perhaps. I used bungee cords like these (cut in half, with each half screwed down): http://www.farmandfleet.com/products/567489-progrip-stretch-lock-bungee-cord.html. There are all sorts of small bungees available, and if you use the ones with hooks you can mount screw-eyes in your board to fasten them to. Easy on, easy off. Leave the feet on for friction. Graemey
I have used a different approach. I posted a few pics here: http://line6.com/support/topic/19364-fasten-helix-to-pedal-board-a-solution/
ColonelForbin
Used 3M dual lock to affix mine to a flat board. I don't think I can get it loose at this point; not easily! I can hold it upside down and shake it.. And I didn't have to take the feet off the bottom of Helix to do it..
spikey
Another idea is make the pedal board to hold Helix firmly on the floor while in use. Then at teardown pick Helix up and off the pedalboard, and put it in its travel case.
kramer_nut
I used four strips of these to attach mine to my pedal board and my Helix hasn't moved yet. Great stuff. http://http://mounting.scotchbrand.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/ScotchMountingAndFastening/Home/ProductCatalog/~/Scotch-Extreme-Fasteners-Black-1-in-x-3-in?N=7583086+3294267900+3294529207&rt=rud
