BigRalphN
I have a super high speed business connection and these forums are still terribly slow and lag. They have been for ages. This is the only site that ever gives me issues. They must be run off an original Bean POD. 1
spikey
I have lag a time or two every 3 months or so here, but not often enough to post about it. Maybe it's just your location and ISP Ralph?

duncann
Plain old Centurylink 30Mbps, ancient Core2Duo, got no problems. Lol. Say that to someone 15 or 20 years ago. Spectrum here, with occasional forum slowdowns.
rd2rk
I remember how fast Compuserve seemed on my IBM 8088 when I got my new 56Kbps modem. WOW!
spikey
I remember loading the OS from a cassette tape on my Vic-20... And was one of the 1st guys to play against another across town here using 28.8 on Falcon 3.0!
rd2rk
Spikey - you got me there! Though my C64 with 28.8 and Quantum Link comes close! Those were the days!
duncann
Haha. Falcon 3.0. I remember playing that with my buddy over 14.4k! (You actually had to read/study the rather large manual too.) Just recently I was going through a bunch of old crap and found an ISA interface US Robotics 56k, still in the original box. Took it to the local computer store for recycling, a bit late I guess. Had to manually push a switch before making a call to set the baud rate.
