Dannocaster
I just got a helix lt and i connected it to a celestion speaker that I have through a switchcraft jack and with the volume all the way turned up I can barely hear it coming through. Anybody run into the same problem and found a solution?
phil_m
If you're just connecting the LT to a passive speaker cabinet, it won't work. You need a power amp in between the LT's output and the cabinet.
spikey
Yep, that's a "pre-amp" signal you are sending to that speaker Danno. Maybe the Helix-2 Introduced this Holiday Season (or Jan-19) will have an amp included... ; )

DirtFarmer
Hey guys, I bought a space ship, i put gas in it but it blew up. TLDR use rocket fuel!

For the latter, I think it is... it's not the first time I've seen that question asked around here. As for a Helix successor this soon, I doubt it...I think he was goofing. Either way, I don't care... finally got this thing working the way I want. I'll be damned if I'm gonna start from scratch again... just barely had his one for a year, lol
spikey
Real? Just guessing ; ) but I've not been told NO by anyone official either (and won't be).

The absence of 'no' is hardly a 'yes'... especially given L6's propensity for refusing to divulge the time of day.

I'm nearly certain that Line 6 doesn't have any interest in releasing Helix hardware with a built-in power amp.

Digital_Igloo
There's no Helix 2 currently in development.
spikey
Quote There's no Helix 2 currently in development. Oops Looks Like DI just nailed me on that guess. I stand corrected. Thanks, DI... As always you are the candle in the Line-6 darkness. OTOH, Maybe it's just not called "Helix 2. ; ) Quote I'm nearly certain that Line 6 doesn't have any interest in releasing Helix hardware with a built-in power amp. The Vetta was Helix's grampa Phil- so that's kinda where I got the notion. They obviously don't now (DI just confirmed it) have such a thing as a Helix 2 in development, but they certainly did at one time have a powered device not much unlike Helix is (minus current technology) . Yes, that was a while back, but still.
