highspeedsandy
Does HD500 and HD500X have same dimension where I can get a soft case for it??
chuskey
Yes they have the same dimensions. I currently use this case: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gator-GK-2110-Keyboard---FX-Multi-Effects-Board-Bag-103364659-i1152124.gc It's a slightly tight fit, but goes in with no problems. I think I may switch to this bag though: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Road-Runner-Pedalboard-All-In-1-Gig-Bag-105462360-i1471720.gc It's a little bit deeper and the way it's designed I can Velcro the HD500X in there and leave it setup. Just open up the bag and plug in. Lazy man's dream :)
BlueViolince
I use the Electro Harmonix pedal bag. It fits perfectly with room for a volume pedal. 40 bucks.
djspleen
I use the same Gator bag as mentioned above (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gator-GK-2110-Keyboard---FX-Multi-Effects-Board-Bag-103364659-i1152124.gc) It is a tight fit but it feels quite secure. It's a nice bag too, durable and nothing chinsy about it (assuming people understand what I mean by "chinsy"). I can also fit my 3-ring binder in the main compartment with the Pod, zip it closed, and then get all of my cables and small gear in the outside pocket. StephenSLR
I also have the Gator, near the bottom of the page there's a pic. showing the fitment. http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/lycanthia/389779-lycanthia-endorsements-gear.html s

jotix2
I have my hd500x, but I am little confused, do you recommend the Gator bag or the "road runner pedal bag"? Which one do you think is the best?
BillBee
Hey my man, this thread is from January :) I have both cases, they are pretty much the same construction and either is a good choice - for a soft case - IMO. The only difference is the RR one can be used as a pedalboard itself (flop the top back or under). -B
