The name "legacy effects" seems kind of dismissive, but there are some pretty cool ones in there. I'm curious what your go-to legacy effects are, and which are your favorites.

Hi,

Well, when I first got my Helix, I used to patch my old POD HD500 into the FX Loop simply to be able to use Dimensions. Some of the phaser and flangers are fun too, but the Dimensions effect is still my particular favourite. I would love to see that updated to the new Helix version.

Same here, that is my go to chorus block.  If I can't get it to match the song I'm playing I'll try others, but its so simple.  I like switch 1 on only, and about a 30-35% mix.

I havent tried it yet with my presets, but Steve Sterlacci (spelling?) has some great vids.  One of his more recent ones talks about the Legacy Tube Comp and putting that between the amp and cab/ir to give a slightly spongier type feel to the sound.

Try Steve's Tube Comp trick. It's a really nice "spice". It's no "Helix just got 183837x better, bc I think my Helix is just good as it is", but it definetly makes it a tiny bit spongier and... You know the feel, that the strings just "stick with your fingers" in a good way? Solos just pour out like liquid honey. Definetly exaggerating here, but hey, give it a try!

Other than Legacy Tube Comp I really like:

Legacy Tube Drive: Just an awesome drive.

Legacy Screamer: No explanation needed.

Legacy Dimension: Instant 80s.

Legacy Plate/Hall/Room Reverb: I can't hear the difference between them and the new ones anyway. And they are Stereo out of the box, so no "Why does my Room reverb sound so sh*t? Oh, it's Mono. Well...". And then I can dial in the Stereo version of the same reverb anew. I rarely use the new reverbs bc of this. Also they don't consume as much DSP and can be "squeezed in" in almost any DSP chain.
