  1. Please describe exactly what ’it’ is. Remember - the plectrum appears normally with licensed (purchased) presets from Line 6 Marketplace. I believe this persists seven if you edit/save the preset; its origin remains tagged.

  2. Pod Farm is a PLUGIN. You install it on a track in your DAW. The ASIO Device in the DAW is both INPUT and OUTPUT. You plug your guitar into the GX. You configure the DAW to use the GX as the ASIO Device. You take the Output from the GX into the AUX on the CAT. OR Configure the DAW to use the Catalyst as ASIO Device. Set Track 1 to USB 1 (Cat Processed). Set Track 2 to USB 3 (Cat DIRECT). Now if you put Pod Farm on Track 2 you can compare all the sounds from Pod Farm (Track 2) to all the sounds from the Cat (Track 1).

  3. Hi, Have you checked the your "pre-owned" HXFX is running the latest firmware v.3.71 ? If not, it is strongly recommended that you update, as it not only does it contain extra /new effects, but also many unlisted bug fixes. If it is already on v.3.71, then the usual approach to when things don't appear to be functioning correctly is to perform a Factory Reset to clear out any possible glitches. To reset your unit make a backup of the contents of your HXFX using HX Edit v.3.70, then while turning on the power, hold down FS6 & Tap. When it is fully reset you can then restore all your stuff from the backup you made earlier, and it should go a process of rebuilding the presets. This is normal and it is done to upgrade all your presets to the latest format. Hope this help/ makes sense.

  4. Same issue here. It's a shame that Line 6 hasn't done anything to solve this problem after so many months.
