NoSlowhand, I am glad you have this resolved. Thanks for including the detailed corrective measures you took. Everything we share in this forum can benefit someone. jpd

NoSlowhand, I have noticed the Line 6 servers are a little slow today, though it could be my area in Northern California as well with respect to our ISP. And forgive me if you've tried the following with no luck as well. I had a problem when I was trying to log into the Stadium using my username and password. My problem was that I am using MFA and had to disable MFA then reset my password. That solved the manual log in problem. If you do not use MFA via an authenticator like Google or Microsoft, etc then next ... I assume you've already installed the latest Stadium App (called Helix Stadium version 1.2.0 release date 12/17/25 and it includes the ASIO driver). Here is a youtube video of another person having the same issue of not being able to update via QR or manual log in. The second part shows the steps he took to get the Stadium updated. He shows the usb-c to usb-c cable plugged and connects to the Stadium via the usb cable as his connection choice but still says to make sure the Stadium and the computer is on the same wi-fi network. ( I have added another user's solution below this video ) Another user did the following "My solution to the problem was to install Line 6 Central on my laptop, boot Stadium XL in maintenance mode and disable wifi and bluetooth, reset to factory settings. Restart and reinstall firmware 1.2 over USB. That seems to work." Good luck Dennis

blindner, Have you used the right arrow to expand the settings on the tuner once the string offset is enabled? Or are you speaking of something else that I am not understanding?

These are great ideas to open a feature request for.

bbehrens, I have been creating the presets on the Stadium XL device itself for the same reason. I use the Stadium App if I want to fine tune the color, move presets to reorder, copy, make templates, etc. In my creation environment I have the Stadium XL on a platform next to my computer. So far, with the Stadium App closed, I've not had an issue with preset creation connected to Wi-Fi and connected via USB to my DAW or for playback/play along with music files or videos. I disconnect the usb-c cable when I launch the Stadium App to fine tune and test the global EQ on/off as well as the learning process I am going through with Showcase. Fun fact, I thought I was a novice with Showcase but it turns out I am a pre-novice ... I was going to say sub-novice but it didn't have the same ring ;-) jpd

Yanu91, are you doing this using the four cable method? On the rear of the ht5r mkii, what is the effects level set to (-10dB pushed in or +4dB out position)? If it is pushed in try setting it to the +4dB level setting. jpd

Stadium XL Major Bug: No Sound after switching presets
jpdennis replied to swhitlow's topic in Helix Stadium
All, the support team just posted back in my ticket concerning this issue as well as the snapshot lockup issue ticket that an update is coming out shortly and for me to be on the lookout to update immediately once released. FYI jpd -
Click with a different sound for the beat one ?
jpdennis replied to vinny_x3's topic in Helix Stadium
vinny_x3, Have you thought about using a verbal cue track for the first measure lead-in into a song? jpd -
drexell, I am just now working with Showcase and have to export each track as a stem from Reaper. Once I have up to 8 stem files exported per song I can then import into the Stadium XL per song to use the Matrix for level setting what I want to hear (bass, drums, keyboards, click, cue, etc.). I am still a novice with Showcase so I have yet to get to any big problems. jpd

microsd Changing/Upgrading MicroSD card on Helix Stadium
jpdennis replied to casaswing's topic in Helix Stadium
gavinashun, great question. I believe the instruction state that 32Gb HC (UC 1 or higher speed class) is the minimum to use. There are others members in this forum that have said they have read or heard the Stadium can use a 1TB microSD. I know 512Gb is reported to work in this forum. Here is stapani's comment ... You will have to use the maintenance mode to format the microSD before use according to the manual. jpd -
Click with a different sound for the beat one ?
jpdennis replied to vinny_x3's topic in Helix Stadium
vinny_x3, is this for showcase use or just in general? jpd -
gavinlewis, you can try reducing the amp "ripple" setting as well to see if this helps.

Jimbles_81, Are you saying you'd use the XLR out L & R for 2 and 1/4 L & R for 2? If so then enjalt said it best (and I am expanding) - the headphones out would go to your IEM and you'd use the matrix per output (XLR, 1/4, headphones) to level what you want and what you do not want heard per output. Forgive me if I am completely misunderstanding your request. jpd

Helix Stadium - macOS unexpected keyboard interactions
jpdennis replied to zscientist2002's topic in Helix Stadium
Forgive me if you've already attempted this. Have you looked into the control permissions in System Settings -> Privacy & Security using the "allow accessories to connect" feature? We used to use this at work for cameras, microphones, etc. so we could limit their use to a specific app. It was a little painful when non-Apple devices had to be allowed for one app and then denied for all others. I do not recall the terminal command, however, I realize you are asking for a "relatively simple workaround". Any high-level Mac experts out there? jpd -
I went back and recreated some of the patches from scratch as well as revisited the Vox patches. It seems I can use the default or just slightly below default setting for Ripple now. The AC isn't as pronounced as well. I am going to be away for about two weeks. I'll check this thread once I return just to see if there has been any furhter feedback from you or others. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and 2026 is almost here! jpd

I will be taking a two week hiatus from music starting this week. Hope you all have a great Christmas and a fun filled entrance into 2026. This will be the first year I did not applied for any music jobs during the end of year and first of year since 1967. My present to my family and myself is to be present this whole period. If I do not appear active for the next few weeks I am not being rude. Maybe you all and the Line 6 staff you may read this have a wonderful time this season! jpd

Stadium XL Major Bug: No Sound after switching presets
jpdennis replied to swhitlow's topic in Helix Stadium
So far I have created two presets to date that trigger this issue. I uploaded the first one to Line 6 support via a ticket I created. They couldn't replicate it with my preset. I do not know if it is a continuation of the DSP issue where I could create a preset that should have been limited to adding FX blocks up to but not beyond the DSP limit of the device. I will reopen the ticket and upload this second preset. jpd -
They fixed saving taking you out of a setlist! YAY!
jpdennis replied to Nos402's topic in Helix Stadium
The workspace is saved for me as well when I am working in the user setlists. And the app is now full screen every time I open it. Plus I no longer have to resize the sidebar or the path & FX selection workspace once I set it up. -
hairshirt, Line 6, as most other model manufacturers, is attempting to get as accurate a sound as possible. In the Line 6 reveal event for the Stadium they shared many of the latest values they are using for the modeling process. This "rectified 120Hz hum", while extremely accurate, isn't heard on the analog physical amplifier as it can be with the digital representation of the ripple value. I haven't used my FRFR yet. I will be doing that after Christmas by this weekend. Hopefully it gets buried a little more. I will let you know in this thread my findings. jpd

Daddy_Rocker, I have not seen this. I checked and was able to boot to maintenance mode several times. You may have already followed the exact procedure I have. I have the Stadium turned off. I then hold down Home & Song. With those two held down I turn on the Stadium and wait until it boots into maintenance mode before releasing those two buttons. Let me know if you already did this. If so you will need to create a ticket with Line 6 support. https://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html jpd

Yes sir. :-)

I found this from an older thread; Have you done this already? I do not have a pedal to test. However, phil_m is well known in these forums. Also, some have gotten this to work using a TS cable instead of a TRS cable. jpd

qm1pooh, If you've already tried the following, I apologize for any redundancy as you've worked through this. While I do not have a RC-5 to test, I dug through some manuals and a few online videos to be safe due to other stomps I've seen limitations on. First, a thought is to reverse what the RC-5 is expecting; have 0 on push and 127 on release. Also, is the RC-5 set to receive pc, cc or both? So, second, what happens if you change the value to 99 on press and 1 on release, and/or reversing that thought, what happens if you change the value to 1 on press and 99 on release? And determine which device controls sync tempo to be safe Master/Slave: Decide if the Helix or RC-5 will be the tempo master. If RC-5 is Master: Set Helix Global Settings > MIDI/Tempo > Receive MIDI Clock to "MIDI" or "Auto". If Helix is Master: Set the RC-5 to receive MIDI Clock in its settings. Sync Effects: On the Helix, set time-based effects (like delays) to use note values (e.g., 1/4 note, 1/8th) so they snap to the tempo. Please forgive me if you already have the manual, which I have attached in case you do not have the manual for the RC-5. I have watched two videos and included the link to one with insight into setup for the various toggles for cc and pc functions within the RC-5. I am researching one more thing and will revisit this thread later today if I find anything that be of help to you. jpd RC-5_reference_eng02_W.pdf

cchimi, Thanks for your input and analysis of this new feature. It is unacceptable that you would be chastised for asking a question especially since I do not see any disrespect in the posts you've added to date. I haven't yet focused on Showcase because I am rebuilding all my presents from scratch as I slowly go through the manual. After reading and rereading the initial request & replies, plus the insights, from everyone in this thread to make sure I what's being said so far, I may have to fast track my timeline to get to Showcase ASAP. I say this because I can think of a few scenarios from my past work that would fit this need. One is a group were the vocalist would get a request in the second set, as an example, to repeat a real crowd pleaser from the first set or advance one or two from the next two or three sets at that moment: bar band tip jar could even trigger this. Or the vocalist may not be ready to sing a song that looked great in the lineup but at 10:15pm doesn't seem to work for that vocalist. One other is the Friday-Sunday afternoon day time public event a one man band or small band venue that asks for requests for tips. I don't know the math of how many of current Stadium owners this represents though it could really be a great demographic to seek out as the Stadium evolves. And I know it will evolve as everyone keeps sending feedback, suggestions, and bug fix tickets to Line 6 support. This has been proven over the past 15+ years with the original Helix family. Having said that, this thread has pushed me to start attempting to use Showcase sooner rather than later to determine what can and what cannot be accomplished at this time. Thank you all for the push. Never too old to learn more. jpd

Did this happen even with the 1.2 F/W update? If so please create a ticket with support. jpd
