arislaf replied to guitar4u's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
By far your best comment yet. -

Very interesting... I have the same devices but never used the like this... Care to tell me exact connectivity?
-
They are, but not for recording...

Thank you for sharing. I hear from everyone that it is easier to dial in good tones . I believe I will get one sooner or later.

That is completely awesome!!! This is the tones I am looking for!!!
-
Same amount of reverb on all tracks.
-
I go with joel_brown on this, fix it before mix it... The best approach is to set the desired drums, then a bass that sits in the mix and last guitar that sits in the mix and doesn't have the same frequencies of the bass. (cut some guitar low end) Also make sure that same quantity of depth is on all instruments. As I told you mate, the tone isolated is awesome. Just needs a bit effort to sit in the mix.

Now I remember you! Hope to see more from you Antii! Take care!
-
As a guitar tone is very nice. With drums it is more in your face than the drums. Doesn't sit to the mix.

1st, you have to be loged in to see the file for download. 2nd, yes it affects all PU of the strato. My suggest is overwrite the onboard strato. 3rd, you must have workbench HD, plug your guitar to the line 6 dong and the dong to your pc. Open workbench, wait till guitars loaded and then drag the file to the settlist you desire.

Andy Loponen.. Very familiar one.. Thank you for sharing!!

Absolutely correct all that you said. I also wish this guy to come here and tell his experience with fractal (stated at my 1st post) I don't know why a hell of ppl have adopt the facebook style like or say nothing bad... Isn't that the fractal comunity the one that does exactly the same? And very ofthe get accused for being such a BS...

No, it is not children, this is the worst... But there is so much hate everywhere... It is not now days, it is always, but ppl found Internet to express their true characters through anonymity... It's the same ppl that smile to you everyday and wish you the best ;)

Replicating Dimarzio PUs in WB
arislaf replied to frstrat's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Single notes from E to e, and after a strum of all of them Just leave some time from string hit to next string hit . No amp, no effects, just full volume and tone knob. -
Good luck man. Pls let me know if it is easier to create good tones on axe.

Stratocasterising My 69s
arislaf replied to arislaf's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Thanks for the kind words. I memorize the positions so I know for example 1 is the 89 1-2 tele, 2 strat, and goes on... Well, as about light up, it is but is not helpful anymore.. -
More authentic. On all the videos I saw the lp of 1959 doesn't sound so hot for example... And the strato of 59 is a touch spankier.... But that is not my deal, I would like to see from our community, the guitars that they own, to share their sound here :D And I see a lot of people are willing, that is great, thanks everyone who has the will to do it!

Interesting. I can write notes at my HD500 patches, but not at my POD HD (desktop)...

Hi guys. JTV emulates guitars good, but not as good as is possible. The guitar has more potential. I would like if people are interested, to contribute on this project: If someone has a les paul, if it is not big effort for him, to try to emulate via workbench his guitar and upload the tone. If someone has a strato, to do the same. Clay man already offer an awesome SG and a great Jagguar I offered my dimarzio pickups on a strato style guitar. Pls, whoever is interested to make the jtv more authentic, please contribute.
