Ok, so couldn't get it sorted under warranty. Opened the unit up and the ribbon connector had come loose. Clipped it back in and lights are fine! just in case anyone was thinking of helping with this :-P

I've had my 500X just over a year and last night the lights on the switches on the left hand side failed to light (FS4/8 & Looper/Tap). Today they fault has moved across the board and only FS2 and 3 light when active. The other switches 'work' but as you can't see what is on/off its very confusing! Anyone else had this issue or can suggest a resolution? I will contact the dealer but I guess they are gonna say its out of warranty! :-(

I was having this problem and was using the 'Variax Loop Acoustic' patch from the DT bank on an HD500X but whilst the sound going from the FX Send to the Full Range speakers of the PA sounds great I've never been happy with the sound coming out of the DT on the patch. I've backed off and backed off the volume then couldn't hear anything! I really like Rads Acoustic patch so having a little time to play over the Holiday I've combined the two so now I get Rads great sound from the DT and the line sound via the PA (or L2) from the FX Send. Just posted in customtone for HD500 under 'Acoustic DT'. In case it helps....

I notice that there are quite a few topics on volume but the ones I have read don't really solve my problem :-(. The issue I have been experiencing is that I get wild variations in volume on my patches even though I haven't touched any of the settings! I appreciate that the software upgrades can bring in issues and I've updated the software on the Pod and the DT25 to the latest and I've tweaked a few things and was happy. However, for no reason the volume on several patches is suddenly wildly different to where I set it - some are louder and some are quieter. For instance, I copied the B3PO patch that is 'factory' to a new set list and tweaked the mixer (reduced to -16) so that it was similar in volume to my other Patches however using the rig today that patch is ear piercingly loud and the master on the POD has no effect on it! I checked the mixer and nothing has changed there. I also have some Supro based patches and two are now too quiet whilst two others are fine! Anyone experienced this or knows what is happening. I have decent cables and haven’t changed them. This is the third time this has happened - I put the other two occurrences down to software updates even though I wasn’t sure on that but it is definitely not related to that now. The software updates were ages ago. I haven't tweaked the Pod at all, I have master vol on 50% and was simply using the master on the DT25 if I need a bit more. However, this issue means I have to change the amp vol each time I change patch. Any ideas? Cheers

I have a similar problem with my DT25. Its 8 months old and has behaved brilliently until recently. I'm having pretty much the same issues as Tboneous. Also, the volume on the DT drops for no reason (sometimes) when using the Variax Tones (JV59). If I switch to mag pups the the volume comes blasting back! Even though Im using the same VD/L6Link connection. If I plug guitar straight into the amp using a jack (on battery) I don't get the problem.. Anyone else experienced this and have any recommendations?

As a 'Dream Rig' owner who plays mostly small gigs I would have lept at the chance of buying an Amplifi if it had a Line 6 Link and allowed me to send acoustic sounds to the full range amp and electric sounds to the DT25. Coming in Amplifi v2?
