  1. Not a bug. It takes time (measured in ms, but still) to UNLOAD the current Preset and LOAD the next one. If you switch faster than the processor can handle that process you can crash the system. I'm sure they're aware of this, as it's been noted before, it just might be an issue that the system can't tell it's in an in-between state and at the same time keep track of multiple transitory LOAD requests. That would be my guess. You can always open a support ticket and ask about it.
  2. Don't know about HXFX (I have Helix Floor and HX Stomp), but IME if you NAME the Snapshots, the Snapshot that the switch leads to is what is displayed. If SS1 is called CLEAN and has the FS set to go to SS2 (CRUNCH), then the display will say CRUNCH. Then, if in SS2 that FS is set to go back to SS1 (CLEAN), then the display will say "CLEAN". Makes sense to me. It doesn't work like that in HXFX? You could always post a request for an option over on Ideascale.
  3. Whether or not you can take your stuff in the cabin is entirely at the discretion of the flight crew, and you can't be sure it will happen until you're trying to board. The few times I've had to fly I didn't have time for them to say "NO!" Literally, YMMV!
  4. I'm not sure how this solves the problem, or even what problem it's intended to solve - what exactly are you referring to as your "audio card"? Is the "audio card" input Instrument level? How does the guitar signal get back into the rest of your signal chain? Your complete signal chain is only available at the REDBOX Line Out. If you want that complete signal chain to FOH as well as into your computer for recording then you'd need to split the REDBOX XLR (I use a simple XLR Y-Splitter) and take one side to FOH and the other to a proper Audio Interface. If your computer's "audio card" has an XLR Input then that works.
  5. If you replace OUT R>DI Box>FOH with REDBOX LINE OUT>FOH then this works, otherwise you're not getting your amp's power amp sound to FOH, just the preamp and FX.

    My LT is haunted

That would stink, but better than roaches! Meanwhile, back at the Vatican...

    My LT is haunted

On the serious side, I don't want to frighten you, but... I once worked for a nationwide rental company transporting consumer electronics, appliances and furniture from customer's homes to the service department. Hearing the sorts of noises that you described, during transport, in big screen TVs invariably indicated a single cause - cockroaches! I'm not making this up. I also frequently encountered mice in larger appliances such as washers and dryers. You don't want to know about the couches and bedding. Nobody wants to think that they might have vermin problems, but it's more likely than demons...

    My LT is haunted

Maybe start with a spray bottle of Holy Water?
  9. Where did you get it from? Maybe if you link to the tone, or attach it?
  10. The MODE switch toggles between Preset/Snapshots and Stomp Mode. If you use Stomp Mode for YT controls you can't use it on the same switches as normal Stomps. Well, you could, but it's likely gonna get weird. You CAN dedicate some switches to YT and some to normal Bypass/Snapshot/etc. functions, but that's not the same as just pasting the YT commands into CommandCenter and using whatever your normal setup was.
  11. This is a user-to-user support forum, nobody from Line6 hangs out here. Contact support, they'll get you straightened out!
  12. I've been using (and professionally supporting users of) Windows since version 1. Yes, Win10 is definitely the most stable version ever, and it pi$$es me off no end that Win11 requires new HW! But my 7th gen i7 is falling behind the needs of modern DAWs and plugins, and there comes a time with every version of Windows that, like with Win7 (which was also great), users who choose not to keep up get left behind. The convergence of my aging HW and the new Windows version makes a full system upgrade the most sensible thing to do. There's an i9/32GB/2TB laptop in my future, but I want the latest greatest, so not until Win10 actually hits EOL.
  13. I'm sorry, I completely misunderstood your post. As the links provided by @datacommandoindicate, Androids are not a good fit for your needs. After researching, I bought my first iOS device - an i5 - back in 2013 specifically for it's audio capabilities. You might check out Craigslist/eBay for an older iPad. I got an Air2 for $99 and it works great for everything - Catalyst Edit, Amp Sims, DAWs, drum machines, Spotify/YT to Helix etc. Simple, cheap USB B to Lightning cable connection. The bigger screen is also REALLY nice!
  14. Was in a metallish band back then - VH, Priest, Night Ranger, etc. We also did a couple of Tubes tunes - Talk To Ya Later, White Punks on Dope and, of course, What Do You Want from Life. I went to see them at a small club in SF, forget the name, Bimbo's? They were hysterical! During "Smoke" Fee Waybill and Jane Dornacker sat at a cafe type table for two and literally smoked so many cigarettes you could barely see them on stage. Try doing THAT today!
  15. I don't see any way to do this. There's another guy on here who has a PC112+ and a plain PC112. Seems like that would be perfect for your situation. Maybe you can trade? Or, if you got your PC212+ new at a reputable store maybe you can work a trade there?
  16. Really. And who would EVER want rutabaga on their tuna sandwich. YUCK! Wait for it... here it comes... "Rutabaga on Tuna is the ONLY way to get the AUTHENTIC Albacore experience!" Whatever.
  17. It sounds to me like this: Guitar -> Buffer ->Tuner -> HX L Input --> Drive Block --> FX Send/Return Block -> HX Send -> Patchbay -> Real Amp INPUT From REAL AMP SEND -> Patchbay ->HX RETURN L --> Delay Block -> Main Output Block -> HX L Main Output -> Patch Bay -> Return of the REAL AMP With the Redbox (H&K amp?) to FOH (or back to the patchbay and then to FOH) is all you need. Since the Redbox has speaker emulation there's no need to come back to the HXS for that unless you really dislike the emulation, in which case you can save two blocks on the HXS by using an IR loader after the Redbox and disabling the emulation on the Redbox. I'm not sure if the Redbox 5 external version has the ON/OFF switch for the emulation and you still didn't specify the amp you're using... I just guessed the H&K since it's the only amp I know of with built-in Redbox. Well, my Catalyst has speaker emulated XLR out - different implementation but same principle. Minus the patchbay I'm doing the same thing you're (I think) trying to do.
  18. The XLR Out has a cab/mic simulation that can't be turned off. It is LINE LEVEL, so it requires an external amp+cab or powered speaker. You could try closing the back of the cab, but I wouldn't seal it completely. Closed back cabs (all cabs really) are designed for the speakers chosen by the OEM. Closing the cab back completely could adversely affect speaker excursion. However, I'm no expert in such matters.
  19. If you connect the PC+ via AES then you have full per preset configuration options on that, but in order to get stereo you'd need to pan that output block hard Left and use the Right 1/4" (or XLR) for the standard PC (left would collapse stereo to mono, so it wouldn't be true stereo). Load up the attached example preset and examine the way the split is configured.
  20. The problem with Fractal sandwiches is the plethora of advanced options - mayo, mustard, ketchup (even CATSUP!), lettuce (6 different types), tomatoes, eggplant, rutabaga, the list goes on and on! I'd spend all my time tweaking and wind up starving to death!
