  1. When I move an effect block in HX Edit, the HX Stomp audio output cuts out and I must restart the Stomp to restore. Both Stomp and HX Edit are the latest version. Is this a known issue/bug? Any help?
  2. Would you be able to explain how you configure TouchOSC to toggle the HXStomp Tuner? I have a toggle with Touch cc# 68, value 0 and 127 but it will only flash the tuner up when I touch and then it disappears.
  3. Please Mr. MooseTaylor, Can you explain the control setting for the tuner control? For the life of me I cannot get TouchOSC to toggle the Stomp Tuner On and stay on and then toggle it back off again. Any help is much appreciated!
  4. How about vocal mic? Any idea how to use this as a guitar and vocal combo? It's full range but why not a mic input? Which input and adapter needed?
  5. I realize many people don't give a crap about the looper but for those of us that really do want an all-in-one live looping capable solution, could someone in the know at Line 6 PLEASE advise if it is or is not technically possible for Line 6 to enhance the looper with midi clock sync via firmware update? The forthcoming update adds this for time based effects which is great but says nothing about the looper. Just want to know if I should forget about it ever happening. Secondarily, if it will never happen, I'd also like to know if it is or not technically possible to at least firmware enhance the looper controls to control an external looper that IS capable of midi sync.. Thanks in advance for a true technical ruling on EACH of these so I can move on or keep waiting in the hopes that it's just a matter of prioritization for these features.
  6. Thanks Joe, I'm familiar with Visio but was wondering if you used something a little lighter, simplified and specialized for music gear. No worries. I'll make do. Thanks!!! Aside from the software question - the other one still stands. Anyone else have experience to share with the combo of gear through Helix, Voicelive (for vocals & clocked synced looper), GR-55, Beatbuddy & L2Ts??
  7. Could you please let me know what you used to create your diagrams? I have a Helix, Voicelive 3, GR-55, Beatbuddy and 2 L2Ts and I would like to memorialize and share how I've been able to (I think optimally) connect and route all to use each effectively through Helix including using the Voicelive 3 looper for all with midi sync to Beatbuddy's clock. That said, if you or someone else has already done this please share. Thanks in advance!!!
  8. outputs set to multi instead of digital (where I had it) was the key. Thanks much!!!
  9. When connected to to my iMac via USB and set sound output to Helix to hear iTunes songs out through my Helix headphones, the inputs (guitar and Mic) are off. In other words I only hear the iTunes when I want to be able to play along to the songs and hear both in my headphones. Is this normal/expected? Or can anyone offer me way to achieve playing along and hearing both through my headphones? Thank in advance.
  10. Ditto! MIDI clock sync is really the only thing keeping this from being a true "command center." Especially in Live Looping or any performance situation depending on integration with BeatBuddy or other external rhythmic or tempo-sync'd devices. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE address through Firmware if at all possible. Is it even possible?
  11. bummer. Thought so. Looks like I have to have another looper. Damn!
  12. I'm trying to use a drum machine pedal (BeatBuddy) and do not want add another (looper) pedal to my rig if I don't have to just to maintain my ability to use the looper without going out of sync. Is there any way someone could tell me how to achieve the looping while staying in sync with this external source? Thanks so much!
  13. Thanks Colonel!!! Any chance at all you could post a picture, drawing or screen shot of the way you described the dual tone patch approach you described above? As I said, I'm just easily confused by the signal paths, mixing and processing rules and where to place things. Like the looper - which I'd like to preserve the use of in "post" position. Thx again!
  14. Also - the GR55 stereo outputs are still going into the HD500 FX loop return? Or put them directly into an L2T as well? Wouldn't I be running out of inputs on the one L2T?
  15. @ Rick: Thanks for that picture! You were really close. It's actually GR55 Guitar out --> G-XT IN;((Mixed with MIC IN)) G-XT THRU --> HD500 Guitar IN.
  16. Thanks guys. The answer seems to be coming through that an L2T can't/won't send to another L2T BOTH an L6 Link input from HD AND any of its other inputs at the same time. It's one or the other. So I'll have to either keep the setup I have OR give up HD500X L6 Link Output. Thank you!
  17. @Rick - Yes, I suppose I would be guessing that my setup is not ideal since I've figured it out on my own. I'm not a music techy guy so I just assumed that I have a low probability of getting it right. To clarify, My guitar signal goes through the GR-55 via 13-pin cable. GR-55 then passes through to guitar input on the HD500. This is necessary to have simultaneous HD & Synth out of one cable using my pickup controller. Given that, I don't think putting things "before" the HD is as straightforward as you're suggesting. So I think my fundamental question still stands.
  18. Current Setup is: HD500x L6 Link Out --> #1 L2T L6Link In/L6 Link Out --> #2 L2T L6 Link In With gear as follows: HD500X FX Loop: Boss RC-300 - using it only as the HD FX Loop intermediary since it has more inputs for... GR 55 BeatBuddy (Drum Beat Pedal) Mic/Harmony G-XT 2 L2Ts This setup is sending the signal to both L2Ts but I have a number of other things that I have to put through the HD500x's FX Loop (thru a Boss RC-300) to get everything through L6 Link so that it splits to both speakers. I've been able to get this setup to work but I'm sure it sounds worse than it should. So, I'd rather take things out of the FX loop and put them direct to the L2Ts so I don't have to depend on RC-300/Fx Loop solution. However, when I've tried to plug something else directly into another input on the #1 L2T (Line in, RCA in, side mixer inputs), it does not get sent to the #2 L2T. Can anyone suggest a simpler connection scheme to have it all work and sent to both speakers? Or is it just a choice of L6 Link input vs. Direct Inputs to L2T? Thanks in advance!!! [bTW, I'm rather confused by the HD500x Input/Outputs, paths and FX Loop signal chain when it comes to this type of setup. No one seems to have my (one man band)setup and there are no scenarios or simple explanations in any of the manuals for my setup.]
  19. I know this is not a constructive comment but I have to say that if this was truly a "priority" we would have had a solution by now. I've had 2 L2Ts offline for 6-months because of this fan rattle. If Line6 cared about customer satisfaction on the measures of quality, durability and reliability, then they would have truly prioritized this fix. I highly doubt that the engineers have dropped everything (including the energy and focus on the Amplifi). THAT would have been the definition of priority and we would have had a fix months ago. I would like to know how Line6 intends to PROACTIVELY notify its customers and authorized service centers on the status of this fix. I shouldn't have to "check in" to this forum only to see that there is no update.
  20. I've read so many posts from people who are changing presets on hd500 and seeing preset changes happen on Gr-55. I think I've tried everything but there is no response on my GR-55. I WAS successful at getting my pod exp 2 pedal to control the level of a synth tone on the GR. But no reaction to Program Changes. I just wish one of these folks who clearly are getting that to work could step me through how they do it. So frustrated.
  21. I hope someone in this forum knows how to use a POD HD500(X) to send a patch change to GR-55. I've looked high and low for a tutorial that shows step by step how to adjust the settings on BOTH units for this application but can not find it. I've read all about HD500 sending PC's automatically. I've read about adjusting the mapping on the GR-55. But nowhere is there a walk through much less a video on how to do it with these two units together. I've followed available instructions on both sides and still can't seem to get a GR-55 patch change from Pod foot-switch. I hope someone can help me.
