  1. They will. Signed, A Tinitus Sufferer....
  2. This also is true, however consider that maybe the average user might not immediately think of doing that, instead choosing to hunt high and low through the manual for how to 'zero" a patch, get frustrated and post WTF here lol... May the circle we just travelled be unbroken lol...
  3. True, but creating a small function to "zero all" in a patch is simple enough, or at least it used to be.
  4. Put this one in the same category as a missing power button lol...
  5. Well, having never used this gear, a couple of things still spring to mind: 1. Loud is relevant to the user. I work with a guy that could drown out most PA's when he's on the phone. 2. Speaking of loud, 75 or 150W are plenty loud in home use where this seems to be aimed at. That is of course my opinion, but still wouldn't you agree? 3. I think their marketing prior to release was vague, absolutely. But given my points above, it isn't really a lie either is it? Again IMHO.
  6. Hey, I'm a smart-lollipop too. And I also agree that companies shouldn't get a pass on support. But how (in your opinon) was AmpliFi a marketing lie?
  7. 125% agreement. The Internet in general and Internet forums in particular have legitimized bad manners and behavior, and the ability to say things to and about people you'd never say in public. Not good. I mean, I agree that pros and cons need to be discussed in any product support forum, and I never take it personally if someone hates a product I love (or am ambivilent about), yet lots of people seem to for some reason. As if someone else's experiences either validate or invalidate our own. Very strange behavior if you think about it. Part of it, I believe is that you are not getting a 3 dimensional picture of someone's repsonse or posting. What was intended (at times) as humor is received as negativism at times. When you are having a face to face discussion, body language and facial expressions are a big part of communicating. Online, they are both missing completely. And the emoticons only help so much. It's kind of sad really for someone my age (55) because I predate this stuff and have lived on both sides of the Information Age. I recently removed Facebook and Twitter from my mobile phone for this very reason, telling my "friends" to either call, or email if needs be and that at least my life wasn't best expressed in terms of a "status update" /rant....
  8. Suddenly I am offended by the word "lollipop" lol
  9. CustomTone is now working for me.
  10. I don't intonate often, but when I do, I prefer Peterson. Stay thirsty my friends....
  11. I have a pair of the Power Engines and they're as good as there is in that price range. I suspect the QSCs would be better, but they sure cost more.
  12. Your minimum and maximum amounts are equal, hence it is doing nothing. (38% in that pic)
  13. Then do what radatats suggested earlier...if that fails, open a support ticket.
  14. Not near my unit, however...go to the Controllers tab in the Edit program...select the delay from the dropdown list and then in the list next to it, select what you want to control and then in yet another list, choose the expression pedal to assign it to. Then save the patch.
  15. Are you using HD Edit, or trying to do this right on your device?
  16. I haven't used 9v batteries in 10 years. VooDoo Labs Pedal Power 2....
  17. I thoroughly believe that the real trick is to make whatever is in your hands (and whatever that is plugged into, if anything) sound great despite any limitations either real or imagined. I think that is what other people mean by "tone is in the fingers"...
  18. Put in a ticket, they replied it had been fixed last week. I check and it was just as broken. I replied "horse feathers" so we'll see what they do now. For the record, I tried on 3 different machines using the Chrome, Firefox and Internet Exploder browsers....On Windows 7 and Android 4.1.2 and 4.4
  19. As I said elsewhere here, John McFee of the Doobie Brothers uses a Variax 700 and an XT Live to cover everything from electric to acoustic to slide guitar tones plus I believe his fiddle is rooted through it s well. Great down to earth guy to btw...He was more than happy to shoot the breeze about his gear.
