Created a ticket - toe switch doesnt work on the Helix pedal - ridiculously hard to press and doesnt switch between volume or wah anyway - asked how to turn it off completely as I have external exp pedal and volume pedal Right now its to confusing - on board pedal is doing something different than external ones - yes played with settings to work between all the pedals but still wonky and especially with different presets getting out of control If I was depending on just the factory pedal I would not be happy terrible design - should not have to put so much pressure on switching back and forth - that said its not working anyway :(

I used helix edit - used FS5 because most snapshots dont have 8 snaps but it didnt work properly it shut it off but not back on again - no biggie have to keep playing around with it

I like the switch idea how do I assign an on and off to the wah block - just noticed the pedal is not turning it on and off just a reassurance that mission wah sound is off or on - thanks much

Hmm interesting I just noticed the onboard pedal act as a on and off - that would work - so onboard rock it to toe for on - and heel back for off then I use my mission for wah - that works Mission is right next to onbaord pedal so convenient to rock helix pedal either on or off - then I would assume I can just copy that wah to any other preset and it will act the same - sound right ?

Thanks Buddy - so thinking maybe assigning a switch to shut a wah on and off - how would one assign a on and off switch to an expression pedal ? looking around now - thanks for help

Hi Guys: I have a Helix LT - getting confused with blocks having assigned all ready to onboard pedal I have a Ernine Ball volume Pedal (Gilmour version) and a Mission EP-1 pedal - Ernie ball is before the Helix of course If I clear - I want to take the complexity out of it and only use the external pedals one for volume and the Mission for a wah or Pitch shift As seen here in Line6 directions if I clear controller assignments will this only clear the onboard wah and volume pedal permanently with no other ill effects ? meaning my snapshots are still untouched and I would only assign (learn each wah or pitch block now with my Mission pedal - thanks for your help At the end it says clears wah and volume - so thinking I would just have to put snapshots buttons again which no biggie - just wondering if anyone has done this and what it effects

What am I missing when I toe down the helix pedal it doesnt switch between exp 1 and exp 2 as a matter of fact no idea how it works - you feel no action of it switching no matter how hard I press it - strange thanks

Same problem here kind of I have an external ernie ball for volume and a Mission EP-1 for wah or whammy pitch etc. Not a fan of onboard pedal to dam hard to push anyway I downloaded a Gilmour (The Blue) preset and all works well When I load a wah pedal on another preset for trying out my Mission does wah but when I heel back it turns off sound - just need to figure out what makes it tick I guess by diagnosing why the whammy pitch preset is working correctly Any thoughts ? prob just a quick change in the preset section of wah's parameters maybe

Have one on the way cant wait to try it out

50$ would be a great deal - sell a ton probably at the moment he has a ton of orders to do so they are selling @Short protection main reason I guess but I actually thinks it looks great :) easier to clean than the black facing of the Helix - man I luv the helix sounds so good

You must have missed the part where cutting holes and square cut outs is impossible with basic tools cant be done very easily and if you manage it - it will still not look perfect - all set with that - not going to place a piece of crap over a 1,100$ Helix

A pedal that will drop your tuning without actually detuning your strings on your guitar - guitar stays in standard tuning - I only need Eb - 1/2 step down for various songs

Thank you - great info thinking using 1/4" to xlr TRS wont make much of a difference - so I would assume I can use 1/4" TRS cables I have on the way

Quick question to the Gurus :) Finding different answers and not sure which is correct I have xlr out of the helix LT going to xlr into my Kali desk monitors and would like to keep it that way I have an Alto TS310 - I want to go out of Helix 1/4" jack to Alto - Can I use a TRS cable on order from mono for now out of Helix 1/4" jack to 1/4" of Alto Will a TRS or TS 1/4" to xlr into Alto make a difference or is just a 1/4" to 1/4" TRS or TR the way to go ? the TRS TR things has me confused as to which one is better or no difference - thanks much

Hi hear yah Crusinin - I built 6,00$ PC and bending lexan is a pia - also these are laser cut - try cutting holes in lexan thats a real pia - all the work involved plus it would never be this good without proper equipment price for me is well worth it - not going to hack something on to a beautiful unit - do value your opinion though

Lot of work put into this product plus Carbon Fiber Knob Guards - I think its worth protecting the Helix investment :)
