  1. I downloaded and read over the manual- I have to say that compared to my Boss GT-10 manual, this one is easy to read and right to the point. Looks like all those pages of menu subfolders and settings for my Boss are basically replaced on the Firehawk by the touch screen interface on the Firehawk app. Looks Easy Peasy! As I read the manual, a few things became clear, for instance when using the tuner function, the led's on the volume knob show how sharp or flat the note displayed on the LCD screen is- looks like the Line 6 people have thought this unit out well, as it looks streamlined and smartly functional- hope mine comes soon.
  2. Thank you digital-igloo! That's good news indeed!
  3. As I was looking through all the amps/effects and the weird(but similar to the original) names, I was thinking that a cool option would be if there is a configuration file that can be altered by the user to change the names of the amps, whether it is a nickname the user calls his non-virtual jcm 800 in the real world, or if you want to change the names of the amps to reflect the actual real names to allow an easier pick, when scrolling through the list. I am aware of copyrights of the names, and understand why the names cannot be used by a third party, just think this could be useful.
  4. After playing around with the app a bit, there are a few things I would like to see: For those without a variax guitar, the ability to raise or drop the pitch of a song for learning/practicing. I would also like to see an "instant tone save" button, right now you have to do a few extra taps, and go into multiple screens to save a tone after a search- this would be good for saving multiple tones on the same search result screen.
  5. Thanks, downloaded it and am monkeying around with it right now- wow- lots of amps! Hoping to get the hardware real soon.
  6. Where can I download the firehawk app for android?
  7. Yes, my thought as well. There is no shortage of effects crammed into this baby- can't wait to get my hands on one!!
  8. Just wondering if you can design effects graphically on a PC for the Firehawk like you can with the HD500? I will use the android option, but I like to have a bigger visual representation of the effects chain.
  9. Ok, why does this effect copied and pasted from the effects list provided quote "amplifi" Bender This effect lets you control a change of pitch using an FBV pedal connected to AMPLIFi. You can set one amount of pitch shift for the heel and toe positions.
  10. The list looked good, but I think it is the Amplifi list, as a few of the effects mention Amplifi, and not Firehawk.
