  1. I just recently got a JVT59 and am now using it with my firehawk, which is updated to 1.1- I see the model changes on all the patches on the variax screen whether it is an acoustic guitar or a distorted guitar in drop d- So as far as I can see it is working fine. By the way, this is my first Variax, and man am i loving just strumming on one of those simulated acoustics!!
  2. I am partly to blame for that one as well (bpm). Sorry
  3. Tones are a 2 way street- If everyone uploads a few of their favorite tones, that will be a start. You can already access the amplifi tones.
  4. I will check it when I can
  5. In the edit screen for the effect you want to change the tempo for, on the right side of the delay time, there will be a bpm - you can tap that area, and enter in a number. make sure you save up in the top right.
  6. Hey, what do you all know about the system menus which are accessable at startup- I know the big knob and tap does a system restore, and the A and C gets you into a system menu- have any of you monkeyed around in there? are there other hidden menus accessable at startup?
  7. I have confidence in the Line 6 team - as far as being a company that keeps an ear to the ground and listen to what the player needs and wants - they are the top of the heap.
  8. Silverhead, so what you are saying - in your opinion, the lag issue will never go away when switching between presets on the Firehawk, because if you get rid of the lag, you get rid of the noise in transition between the 2 patches.
  9. As far as I can see, this update was not for people wanting to use the Firehawk for a live gig situation- the Lag has not been addressed (but they are working on it). I did notice the modulation between some patches has gone away, but in others it is still there. We will still have to do the "Riverdance" between stomp buttons to get a different sound within a patch as Chivajn mentioned above.
  10. Bluetooth update worked. I like having multiple options to update.
  11. At about 4300 it is finished. did a reboot and now it reads 1.1.00. time to check it out.
  12. meuste- is your Bluetooth indicator on the firehawk out while it is updating as mine is?
  13. I just started updating via Bluetooth - It does look like it is going to take a while, as the blue bar on my android devie is about 1/4" long out of about 4 inches, and my counter on the Firehawk passed 100 and counting. One note- the blue light indicating Bluetooth is not on, yet the counter is still going- strange.
  14. I am currently having the same problem. I am gonna try and do a firehawk factory restore then try. I will let you know if that allows me to complete the fw update to 1.1

  16. Firehawk firmware V1.1 now in download area. Yippeee!!
  17. What's New Hi There, This version requires a firmware update for your Firehawk FX (v1.10.0). We reccommend updating via USB using Line 6 Updater for Mac/PC software available at www.line6.com/software. - New Looper Block (Including support for pre/post positioning and footswitch assignments) - Bluetooth connection to Firehawk FX is now more stable - Various bug fixes (including fixed functionality for opening tones shared on social media) Thank you for all your support. The Line 6 Firehawk Team

If you want music to come from your bluetooth device to your firehawk. make sure that you have the firehawk showing up in both areas of bluetooth setupin the app (to send receive data, and to send music to). try plugging headphones into the firehawk, and streaming the music to it, you should be able to now adjust tour music and guitar volume from the big knob in red and white modes.
  19. You could do that or stream your external audio via Bluetooth, and mix with the big volume knob.
  20. As Silverhead said, also, the external audio you are putting into the return should be at the very end of the effects chain(or have no other e3ffects on), so you do not get unwanted effects on your input sound.
  21. As per Silverhead- 1) tap on pedal to engage it- if you don't tap within a few seconds, it will revert back to the original bank and the blink will stop. 2) never had a HD50oX - but the sounds you get from the Firehawk are very good sounding compared to my BOSS GT10, with the amp modelling even better. 3) at loud volumes, you would swear the amp you modelled is actually in the room with you- cabs are super versatile as well, with mic adjustments for each. 4) I disagree with silverhead - on this one- playing live, the top buttons are too close to the bottom, and I tend to switch banks by accident If I don't pay extra attention- that is why I am pushing to get the lag time between patch changes reduced- I would rather only h use the patch buttons live. 5) The mobile app does make dialing in tones easy, and I can easily blow a few hours messing around with cool sounds, but for me, it is not practical to take on stage with me, as you can do some quick tweaks on the floor and save from the pedal if you have to. I think the first version of the firmware was not a true indication of what this unit can become. I am still using my GT-10 live, because of the lag issue- songs in need of 4 different distinct guitar sounds and a dozen switchings can not be performed successfully with this pedal in it's present firmware.
  22. Well maybe Line 6 should have someone who's job it is to post on the line 6 forum.
  23. Agreed - we don't need new features yet. We just need a piece of gear that works as it should.
  24. Having done a factory reset a few times on mine, I backed up all the stock patches to "my tones" the last time. I do think some of them are on the cloud. There is no bulk save or restore for tones. It is a versatile unit, and after tweaking, you will probably find amp/effect combos you like, but it is not as easy as we all thought it would be, because of some of the limitations of the unit.
  25. I don't mind the wait, if the issues that need to be addressed are being ironed out. To Line 6: Lets get the functionality issues worked out first. Extra options can wait until firehawk works properly.
