  1. Mcbeddall. For all the messing about we have done with this so called "easy to use" device, I am thinking I would have been better off with my first instinct and bought an HD500X, as at the end of the day, I need a reliable live unit, and it does not matter If I get my tones programmed with a PC or Android device.
  2. I know, this is looking like some kind of flaw in the programming - at one point, I thought that if the first banks (01A being key here) were altered with user made tones, it would cause the A/D Death, but then it showed up in different situations, so I am stumped on this.
  3. I have had this problem with no bluetooth device connected, so I don't think the A/D death lights are caused from this part of the device.
  4. Thanks Timmi- I agree totally - vote on the ideascale to get this resolved.

basically it boils down to - do you want your amplifier's preamp sound to be used in your sound via effects loop? If the answer is no(becasue you are using the amp models on the firehawk), then just plug your left mono out uinto the effects return on your amp, and crank the return level to 100% wet. That will give you the true sound of the pedal without any sound from your amp.
  6. How does this affect the sound of the magnetic pickup on the Low E, after all, there is a reason bridge saddles are made of steels and alloys.
  7. While I was troubleshooting my low E string on my 59 (because of the low E twang noise), I noticed that when I slid the bridge out of the post holder, the post receivers were securely pressed into the guitar body, but the posts were a bit loose, to the extent that they rattled a little bit. Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any info forumpeople!
  8. Thanks David, I was surprised they had so many components for Variax guitars. I am definately going to order a few of the piezos. Does anyone know the procedure to change one out?
  9. I have read other posts which mentioned an over sensitive piezo. Where can I get a replacement part for my Jvt59?
  10. I have had my Jtv59 for a few months now, and noticed the bad sounding low e from day 1. I have tried many different things to try to get rid of it, but I cannot. I bought this guitar used, and would like to get it fixed, as in magnetic pickup mode it plays and sounds great. What options do I have? I am in Canada if that comes into play.
  11. Thanks for the post- That is too much dead air between switches to be practical for me.
  12. You do not need the external expression pedal to change the pedal to use an effect tweak, what will happen is you will control the effect (say, delay time) with the built in pedal, and will not be able to control volume. Wah will still engage when the pedal is depressed.
  13. Yes, effects switching has far less lag, and with no amp sims on, changes also are more smoother, but this hardware is promoted as an amp modeller, and the majority of the users of this device are looking for a unit which has everthing they need to get good tones with a few taps of a bluetooth device without external effects. In a day or two, I am going to create 2 videos of my own and share them for comparison- I will play a full song with 4 different patch changes through a Boss GT-10, and the Firehawk.
  14. Yes, I have enountered 2 bad tones- one which I downloaded from the cloud, the other I created (by accident) and have deleted. I had suggested a screening process for tones when I first encountered a bad tone about 6 weeks ago. By the way, how do you find the lag time between patch switches on the Firehawk compared to you gt100?
  15. Thank you for the upload, what amp models did you use in your demo? There is less lag between patch switches when you go from a patch based on the same amp model. Also, the more effects you put in the patch, the more delay you will get between patches, coupled with weird noise in the transition between the patch switch. If you are happy with lag time on this unit Wilson, that is great, but with the patches I created, and need to use in a live situation, there is too much lag to be practical.
  16. Keep the votes coming- this will decide the future of this pedal board. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Firehawk-FX-Correction-latence-change-preset/726710-23508
  17. I feel your frustration. We have the same problem, but there has not been a concrete solution as of yet. I know the line 6 crew will get this solved eventually.
  18. No bluetooth device. maybe you have a different mindset when it comes to patch switching times- I know there is lag - how about you post a video with your instant patch changes? I am sure I am not the only one who would be interested in seeing.
  19. Well, having used a boss gt10 for about 5 years, the lag time on this is about double, for me, that makes this unit in it's current state a downgrade from a device that is 7 years older.
  20. In the app go into settings on the bottom there will be a tap tempo on/off

  22. Just want to keep this topic going so all new Firehawk members can vote, just got back from band rehearsal, I could only use the firehawk for so long, then I got frustrated, and had to put it in it's bag and switch to my old reliable boss gt10. I really hope this gets addressed in the next firmware update.
  23. No, but I was planning on getting an external pedal- maybe not now, if there is a possibility it may add more issues.
