  1. The input gain was completly down. I recorded a video for the Facebook group (great group ;-) ) to show the output level metered in my audio interface. Guitar input, without attenuation pad in Helix, 1MOhm impedance, mic level at XLR, with factory preset US Double, and with the input gain in audio interface as low as possible: https://www.facebook.com/rilopcar/videos/1196831980328234/ The same occurs in two diferent mixers. With the help of the facebook group, I enabled in Helix the input guitar pad, and signal level drop down about 9db. My guitar has a seymour duncan Jazz/JB, which it isn't active high gain pickups (by the way, with a stratocaster occurs more or less the same)

    Setlists

How can I to change from one setlist to another with foot switches?
  3. I have found also that the output level of factory presets are too high even with xlr output as mic level. This is a problem when you assign the volume knob to other than xlr output, as this output automatically is configured at maximum level
  4. Yes, I think so. I tried to upload the list at HelixHelp time ago, but it seems that only the owner can add content. If the owner read this: you can publish the list if you want :)
  5. And some of them simply are jokes from the development team :-) Updated with yours comments, thanks all
  6. What device should we use as clock source in the agregate device? Helix? The other audio interface?
  7. Last version works quite well, but from time to time there are like burst of digital noise

    headphone sound

I have a (new) DT880, and sound great, but there is a difference (to better) in sound as you turn up the volume in Helix. Try it, but remenber that high volume is not good for your ears ;) Anyway, I would like a personalized global eq for each output. If I remember correctly , the Kemper has so well.

    headphone sound

Already asked, I think: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Global-EQ-presets/809976-23508 I also think that it's very necessary
  10. It will be great be able to have the switches replicated in the Helix editor, so we could push their with mouse. And also replicate the tuning bars from Helix in the editor when tuning guitar.
  11. Yes, that is what I had planed to do.
  12. I don't know if this is a bug, but sure it's a problem. With a button that activates/deactivates two blocks, touching (not pressing) the button, invert the block that should be activated. In a live situation, you have a big problem :-( I've recorded a video, I hope you can see clearly the behaviour https://youtu.be/0IR5_8emUmg https://youtu.be/0IR5_8emUmg
  13. Thanks for the explanation :-) So if I understand correctly, 1MOhm is like overriding the true behavior of the first pedal in the chain
  14. When I bought the Helix, the input impedance at guitar input was set at 1MOhm, but as there was also an "auto" setting, I chose that option because I thought that Helix automatically set the best impedance for the guitar. But now I have a doubt: if "auto" seems a good option, why the default option is 1 MOhm?
  15. Not clear that all the problems have gone. Using Helix as input/output from my mac, errors and disconnections occur after playing an hour or so.
  16. Me too :) I hope Line 6 will release the driver soon :(
  17. I've done something similar with an audio interface. I've used xlr output from Helix (as line out) to xlr input in the audio interface. Set the volume of the outputs in the Helix with the volume knob. In your Scarlett, you can use the front xlr inputs, and also you could use the two rear trs jacks, and probably the spdif digital input. By the way, I recomend you to use the Helix as audio interface, conected through its usb port to the computer.
  18. Sorry for my ingnorance  Is this the name of the band? I've included the name of your proposals. As there are dubts, I've write the severals bands separate by a | and a (?) sign at the end.
  19. Slayer, I suppose... Updated the list!! Thank you, they are less :)
  20. Hi. Who are the artists who inspired the presets? I think I know some of them, but you can help to complete the list ;) Notes: - Amp presets are eliminated (I hope so, if there are someone it's my mistake) - When not sure for a preset, I will put "(?)" after the suggerences. 21. how the listening is compared with a pair of near field monitor? Do you have to equalize to match the monitors? I've tried several headphones (about 70$ models) and what I've found is that there is a lack of low frecuencies.
