Colors? No problem! I've added them in my list. I used a seperate column - otherwise you couldn't read anything...and it could seriously damage your eyes. ;-) Maybe it's helpful. The comments I had saved in my list are from the Line 6 homepage...but I don't know, where I had found them... Only the gear of the Firmware 2.50 had any kind of descriptions. Lets talk about Helix, and bass for a moment.
teo-torriate replied to Lachdanan0121's topic in Helix
I rarely use my Helix Floor for playing with bass (as I am actual a guitar player) - but meanwhile I exclusively use Helix Native for my bass recordings. After years of using Amplitube it's a major step! The sounds are more than I ever had expected and I much appreciate the features, the routing and the endless possibilities in creating great tones. The slightly overdriven sounds of tube amps are exact that what I've been searching for over all those years. What a killer machine! :-) -
Simply take the latest update (. It's all in there what you need to bring up your Helix to the newest version. :-) Grrrr...too late. ;-)

Go to "Global Settings" > Footswitches, Preset Mode Switches. There you can select the functions of the switches. Maybe one of this could fit: - "Preset/Snap" (4 presets in the upper row, 4 snapshots in the lower one) - "Snap/Prest" (4 snapshots in the upper row / 4 presets in the lower one) - "8 Snapshots" (8 snapshots in two rows)

If I use an EQ block I place it near "the end of the road" in order to have that little corrections which are needed to round up "my sound". This video was very helpful for me! Jason Sadites is absolutely amazing! :-) And there is much more to learn for me...

Yes, sometimers more is definitely more! :-) What a nice toy store! I hope you don't get lost in this boundless possibilities. ;-) Have fun and rock on!

Welcome to the club - and have fun! :-)

And that's how I did it then. Unfortunately it took more than four weeks to get my Helix back. But now it's running well and everything works properly. And I'm glad to have it back! :-) Rock on - and thank you for your support!

High five! Great news! I think you'll have two sleepless nights. ;-) And a picture of your blissful smile. ;-)

YAMAHA DXR10 and Helix. Speaker on a stand or a amp stand?
teo-torriate replied to endemolash's topic in Helix
So do I! ;-) I like the sound of FRFR-Monitors (I use two of the Yamaha DBR10) at my feet - blasting right into my face. :-) -
- add a block (preferably in front of your amp, because the tone will be more precise) - chose a model from the "Pitch/Synth"-list, for example "Simple Pitch" - turn the "Interval" to "-12" (one octave down) or "+12" (one octave up) - adjust the other parameter (Cents, Delay etc.) to achieve "your sound" - push the "MODE"-switch to select the stomp mode - move the joystick to your block (Simple Pitch) - touch the desired footswitch for a second, the assign menu will be opened - press "OK" (button 6) Have fun! :-)

Oh, I've forgot to mention: there's no hum on the headphone output.

Thanks for your suggestion! I will try tomorrow and report after that. Although it feels not to be the right way. ;-) East and west... Great! You made may day! :-)))

I hope my English is good enough to describe my problem... I've found nothing that matches exactly my problem. I bought my helix in November 2018. Until last week I used a Blackstar ID260 as Amp/Monitor (mono) and had no problems with the sound or anything else. I used the 1/4"-Out with a TRS instrument cable (Left/Mono). Yesterday my two Yamaha DBR10 (active monitors) werde delivered - and I hoped to make a big step on the way to reach my "perfect sound". Unfortunately I've got a problem with hum - only on the right channel. I use the 1/4"-Outputs with instrument-cables and on the Yamaha-monitors the line-input "1". The inputs are switched to "line" - switching to "Mic" made it even worse. The humming gets louder when I turn the level-control of the speaker to higher positions. If the controller is at "-∞" there is no hum to hear. When I pull off the TRS-Cable from the Helix, there is nothing to hear. The Volume of the Helix has no effect on the humming. I pulled all cables out of the Helix (Guitar in, Variax, Send+Return 1, MIDI) in order to prove all connections - but it made no difference. I tried to use the XLR-Outs, but nothing changed, neither when I used the Ground/Lift-Switch. I changed the L- and R-outputs on the Helix (1/4" and XLR) - to make shure, it has nothing to do with the function of the monitors. After that the humming was on the other monitor. I changed all cables (TRS / XLR) and got the same result. So I am shure, that the problem is caused by the right output of the Helix. I proved all Global Settings on the Helix and couldn't find anything. 1/4"-Outputs are set to "Line", XLR-Ouputs likewise. I'm afraid, there's nothing more I could do in this matter. Or have I overlooked something? I appreciate every idea, comment or suggestion! :-) Greets from northern Germany! Teo

Late...but hopefully not too late... Here is the link to the effect-list: https://dshowmusic.com/line-6-helix-effect-models/ I've made an EXCEL sheet with all the included gear in order to filter or sort the desired kind of gear. Maybe it's helpful for some of you. Line 6 gear.xlsx
