Does that mean that you bought an Amplifi and you don't have any android or ios device ? What would be the added value to have the remote app runinng under windows ?

Do you mean that you are connected in the same time with one unique device (your phone) to your FH and your Amplifi ? I am not sure the BT protocol is supposed to support that. Have you tried to pilot your FH with one phone and your amplifi with another one ? Another idea would be to create a neutral tone and store it on your amplifi and to connect with your phone only to the FH.

Hi Rinoburgy, I am using an Amplify 150 & a Firehawk in conjunction with a Galaxy S6. Both are working really good and once the BT connection is up, then it is very stable. The firmware of the amplify has been updated to rev 2. (I did'nt update it to 2.5 so far). They are 2 situations where th BT connection fails every 30s : since I also have a Galaxy tablet, and some Iphone and Ipad around, it happens that one of these devices is already paired with the Amplify. I just turn the BT of this device off, and solved, No other device paired, but the BT drop every 30 s, then I switch the Galaxy S6 off and back on, and it is back stable. I hope it helps you, BB

Hi, I am an old Line6 products user and I have bought this year an Amplify and a Firehawk. These 2 products are unique with their UI based on tablets and they represent a big technological change. So we are some kind of early adopters and our situation is exactly the same than any early adopters in the IT industry. Based on what I read in the L6 forums and my own experience, these 2 products suffer of ; Connectivity instability UI and features of the remote apps that need some enhancements These difficulties are obvious and none can rely on the these products in a gig. It seems that Line6 is experiencing the same difficulty than any technological company facing major problems with some of their new products. They adopt the "silence until solution" approach. Which is opening a broad range of interpretation such as lack of skills, lack of resources, lack of priority, product design failure, product interruption,... and which is leading us to a hudge frustration and a lost of faith in L6. On the customer service side, these poor guys have "the lollipop between 2 chairs" (not sure if it is an english expression...). They know the products they have to support are unfinished ! They just can try to delay until the solution is coming. Try once, it is not very confortable. I feel L6 is wrong in their crisis management approach. They will lose existing customers (sending back their device) and if prospective customers reading the forum will go to the competition... But in the same time, the Amplify and the Firehawk have such a great potential that I will carry on to hope that real enhancement will come one day or another ...

I had 3 gigs on last weekend (3 hours). The FH worked fine and the sound was great. 2 of the 3 gigs were under a nive sun and I have had exactly the same experience than yours : impossible to see anything. It's a little bit disturbing when you have to take a solo and you don't know if the boost and the stomp are on or off ! My workaround was to have my galaxy on a lectern and see if the stomp was highlighted. Not very efficient...but better than nothing In order to solve easyly this problem, it gave me an idea of enhancement of the ipad/android software : if Line6 could add a "status panel" just displaying the position of each selector it would be easyer to the patch and the options selected. As soon as my account is approved I will fill the suggestion form.

Have you tried any android emalator under windows 8 ? such as http://bluestacks-app-player-for-windows-8.en.uptodown.com/ ? I have no experience of such a solution but it seems to be one way to have your FW app running under windows right now....

well this is the concept of this product ! It relies on the asumption that almost everybody has at least a smartphone (even if the tablet is much more confortable to drive the FH). If it is a stopper for you, maybe the HD500 or the helix are the appropriate solutions for you. Or you can submit an enhancement request for a win8 version.

I have a gig on friday and I will reorganize my patches to follow your recommandation. What kind of application are you using to manage your setlist ?

Have you brought your ipad with ? Will it be of any help for the brightness topic ? Btw, have you experimented any trouble because of the latency pb when switching from you patch to another ? Tks for your feedback.

Hi all, It's probably an obvious question but I did not find how to add a second stomp...I know it's possible because some of the existing patches have 2 stomps assigned. Thank you for your lights !

Hi Everybody, I have got my FH 2 weeks ago and I am trying to get nice sounds based on the standar settings. I have connected it to my Fender Champion 300 (and to several other amps as well). I have updated the firmware with the latest version. As described in the users guide, I have set the Output selector to "Amp". Then I experimented a very low volume and a very poor sound on every standard patches. My questions : since it is an out of the box situation, did I do someting wrong ? are we supposed to use the "Line" instead ? does the "Amp" option bypass the Cab settings If I adjust the output volume, which one should I play on ? will I have to do it for every patches ? If I do it, does it mean I won't be able to use the "Line" without changing the volume back ? Thank you for your feedback
