I'm good with that! There are some things I would choose over Line 6 stuff, like the Boss katana mkii vs. the Spider mkii. In a imaginary world I would buy both those amps.

What will the 3.0 update be called? "The highly anticipated but may be disappointing for some update?
-
How dare you share the way of the dark side!!!! You call yourself a line 6 user!!!!! Links to sites that aren't line 6 product??!! Amplitude????!! LOL LOL LOL JK :D P.S don't tell line 6 i prefer Kemper floorboards to Helix floor!!! JK! I'm not rich and I prefer Helix

Hx Stomp is a good shout if you already have other pedals. Hx stomp is more expensive than a pod go but the functionality of the Stomp is better. I do mostly recordings so I bought the hx stomp Last Christmas and I haven't looked back.(I have a band but we haven't played any gigs yet) for me I prefer the stomp to all the other multi effects out there because of the quality of the sound and I like pedals, so i can use it in conjunction with pedals I have and going to buy.

In the Hx Stomp Manual it states that Midi cc commands can control up to 5 foot switches and it has midi cc reserved for future use, will we be able to control up to 8 when/after the 3.0 update comes out? And will we be able to have more than three snapshots like up to 5? I'd like to use the morningstar MC8 one day to control up to 8 effects that will fit under the DSP limit of the stomp.

Lt will probably be more fun to learn how to use, and it will have more things you can't do with pod go
-
Even the power user is tired of it too, must be nice to have power user under your names.

Alas fellow Canadian, same in the province of Alberta. I have an HX Stomp and seeing what they are doing with it now and in the future I much prefer it over the Pod Go, I like using two analog drives in front and using the stomp for Modulation amps and reverb.

I have a 1/4 adapter and my head phones have 1/8. But when I listen I don't have a full stereo sound, The adapter I have is to long for the headphone out and sticks out a bit the sound quality is good, when I push it in all the way the sound quality was bad (that was the only and last time i did it don't want to damage anything.) Do I have to find a better 1/4 adapter?

this will help ya mate!!

I thought the same thing, but as time went on I became attached to it. Right now six blocks Is just enough for me. I originally had an expression pedal but it sat in my basement for 4 months. this is better for things like a back end for your pedalboard, a back up for your amps or for recording.
-
Go for the Stomp, it would be a way better option then the pod go for you, Pod go is like a all in one get up and go thing, Hx Stomp, Is better used with pedals, audio interface. or use as a backup for amps and cabs, or it has a group of effects you wouldn't buy on their own.

Yes, I Just hope you backed up your set list files, Just do a factory reset and all should be right, you may be missing names for all presets and presets you made though

Those are cool controllers, I'll have to keep those in mind.

Thanks for answering my posts I think this may be better though the beringer board looks awesome https://www.long-mcquade.com/67933/Guitars/Guitar-Effects/Roland/ES-5-Boss-Effects-Switching-System.htm ( Ithink this would work with the stomp)
-
I understand that, The hx stomp can go up to 6 blocks and they both use one dsp chip and with the 3.0 update, 8 blocks spaces will be there, so technically if i can get what I like into the stomp i should do the same in the pod go right?

I found these sweet looking midi controllesr, would these work with the midi functionality on an Hx Stomp? https://www.long-mcquade.com/6363/Guitars/Guitar_Effects/Behringer/MIDI_Foot_Controller.htm https://www.long-mcquade.com/160220/Guitars/Guitar-Effects/Singular-Sound/MIDI-Maestro-Control-Pedal.htm

This would be an awesome buy for me. But. The 4 locked in effects is a little sad, This could be everything i want but for the fact I have to have a wah, volume and eq kinda feels restrictive. Will there be a future update that allows you to choose all 8 effects you want instead of just 4?
-
Whenever You update Hx products you have to install the newest Hx edit
-
I don't know, The thing with all the other companies is that none of their stuff look as good as Line 6's stuff, Line 6 looks super easy to operate (for me anyway) super clean and the black products are awesome!
-
Pretty much, but It's probably never going to happen, Maybe I'll shoot an this to the guys that make the Kemper. lol
-
Yeah, I just posted here to know why some don't like that idea, you guys have given me some good reasons. the the pod go is a great product I think it's a little too limiting in the software (You have to have an amp or volume or wah (and eq i think) in a patch, but that could change down the line.

Found the size and it's 20 by 12.

So basically think of 2 Hx stomps side by side and a small exp pedal. and smush them together side by side, with stuff like a mic pre added. becausfor me a mic pre would help me sooo much.
