You could go Four Cable method with your Katana, And (I think?) swap out the pre amp from the Katana to something different

You need to update HX edit when ever you update the HX products

And the sweet stereo delays and verbs will sound awesome

It would be smart for home use to get some good studio monitors, If you are playing small gigs than just go direct to PA. But in my opinion and many others, Go for monitors!!

Or get rid of Catalina

That's ok! I like bands like Thousand Foot Krutch and Skillet but I mostly like Pop/Punk (Not metal but but Rockin anyway) I don't play on a worship team yet but maybe someday.

Don't make presets using headphones, though you can do it it's not recommended. You need to make patches at a high volume through speakers ( like a frfr or studi monitors) because the headphone out is a different gain structure if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe reinstall HX Edit (do that whenever doing a firmware update) and then click the snapshot button, turn on and tweak any effects, then click it again for another snapshot and repeat

You need to backup your setlist . it's in the upper left hand corner in the yellow lettering. Unfortunately I made the same mistake when I first bought it and then renamed all factory presets. next time you do any update or make patches make a new backup setlist file.

Are you using both the paths? If you fill up the first path and runout of dsp it's not that you ran out, it's just your using only one dsp chip so you need to use the other path.

Do you back up your set-list preset files before updating? It is recommended that you do that or you will loose what ever presets you've loaded i'm pretty sure. Also make sure to update to 2.91, I've noticed in the pic it's 2.90.
