Couldn't find the sizing of the pod go, But something that is W 20'' D 5''.

Yeah I guess. Some people want the stomp to be a mini helix (which it is not) It's there to expand your board or to be a dual amp thing or whatever. I was just throwing it out there, I personally prefer having analog pedals and then use the stomp as the back end. But if you are on a fly date for 1-2 shows it would be nice to have something you can put in a small carry-on and not have to make another board or bring pedals with the stomp.

Something Twice as wide as the HX Stomp (6 fsw plus a designated Tuner/Tempo) and a small expression pedal (w/ toe switch) as much dsp as the helix. New ins that were not on the stomp, Mic in, Variaxe In maybe an aux in. tell me what you think, this idea hasn't been very much liked on idea scale. Please comment!!!!!

I forgot I did that, I fixed it so that both amps are on the same path and one is off PRS Archon Board 2.hlx

Here is what i do I look at pedals and board that some bands that i like and build my board around that sound (I'm in a Punk band, so think Green Day, Sum 41 sounds and mix it together) Check out this post for ideas. If you have a certain sound that is reminiscent of a band than check out this links.

That's what I do when I've got two amps that are dirty and clean, Really I don't think it does anything to the tone if one amp is off and the other on (Could be wrong) But I made this preset kinda quickly and didn''t spend a whole lot of time on it, just set em where the sound good and tweak em later if I get a Helix.

Here's one I made just assign thhe foot switches and make sure there is a butten that toggles between the clean and dirty amp IC PRS Archon Board.hlx

https://www.long-mcquade.com/3983/Guitars/Guitar_Effects/Line_6/2_Button_Foot_Switch.htm would this work with the HX products? I would think so, I've had a electronic piano foot switch work on a digital amp to switch between two presets. So maybe this will work?

I realize that, Some people do want it to be a mini helix (I'm not included, don''t have a need for that) The reason I bought the stomp was for the purpose of doingg recording for bass and guitar and to add it to my pedal board (which at the moment looks pretty sad) Thank you for answering my questions!! -

Cool! One more question not that I need it, but as far as I can tell the HX Stomp has one dsp chip, the Helix has two, since you can have more than 8 block spaces in one dsp path on the helix, some day the stomp will have the ability to have the same amount of block spaces. Am I right? (I say "block spaces" since you can max out the dsp and a certain number of effects isn't set in stone since each effect/amp/etc is different in dsp usage) -
I have an HX stomp, If i played drums I would use it with electronic kits all the time
-
Maybe download into a PDF program and print it from there. Some would be pdfxchange editor, adobe PDF viewer. Those could come in handy for other stuff also.
-
Never heard of an Hx product able to do that but you can run electronic kits into it for effect prosessing
-
Maybe upload a screen video of what you are doing in HX EDIT so maybe we can figure out if you're missing anything.
-
Interesting. Maybe contact line 6 directly and tell them what has happened and what you've done so far. Sorry I couldn't help.

For those who don't speak Spanish. Hello, I see that many claim to use a block for the volume pedal; if you can control the volume of the amplifier block with the expression pedal, you have a volume pedal without wasting a block. They can also turn wah on and off without using an fs, if in controller assign put position and regulate between 0 and 95%. When you lower your big toe to the max, it turns off, when you turn back on. Greetings to all!

Preamp Modal vs. Amp Modal. What's the difference?
Nylander88 replied to Nylander88's topic in Tone Discussion
Thanks, I do have the manual but what I don't like is that it is out of date and does not show any new stuff or information about the Hx line (I could be wrong but, oh well. -

@Digital_Igloo do you know whether or not if this is the final update for the 2.90 area or if the next update will be 3.0? If you can't divulge that info that's ok. -
Preamp Modal vs. Amp Modal. What's the difference?
Nylander88 replied to Nylander88's topic in Tone Discussion
so, take the HX line where you have 1. Amp+Cab 2. Amps 3. Preamps 4.Cabs, what would be the difference between just the Amp head modal and Preamp modal?
