  1. Hi @IsraelDoughlashow did you get on? If a reset didn't work and you are still having a problem I have a Backup of all the Pod Go factory patches that you can import via Pod Go Edit. Send me your email and I'll send to you.
  2. If you are still having a problem I have a Backup of all the Pod Go factory patches that you can import via Pod Go Edit to see if the volume wah works correctly. Send me your email and I'll send to you.
  3. And if it does cause damage with excessive voltage, your warranty will be null and void!
  4. How did you reset to factory? You need to hold down C&D switches when powering up, not A&B as these won't reload factory patches.
  5. There really is no reason not to have a clear function for convenience. The Tonelab SE and LE edit software has a clear function and its useful for tidying up. Eg you import some patches, decide you don't like them, and just press clear to delete them. Don't understand why it's not in there as it's just basic functionality. It's not a deal breaker as you can copy/paste 'New patch' but it's a clumsier approach. I'd be surprised if Line 6 doesn't add this in the next Pod Go Edit version.
  6. There's no facility to rename these, or to name snapshots, currently. These have been the most common requests to Line 6 to upgrade Pod Go so we can only hope they can do something here, providing the DSP allows.
  7. Darker = Helix Lighter = Line 6 legacy models I think it's just for 'information' - personally I don't see the point, but probably just a way for Line 6 to differentiate the new Helix models. Re quality, I don't think there's any discernible difference.
  8. In the US, 'dirty electricity' can be a real problem and digital gear can be particularly sensitive to anything other than a clean, stable supply. It's a very common problem in the US (where the control and quality of mains supply is somewhat different to the UK, with fluctuating voltage and external interference that can change hugely between venues) and you may need to 'clean' your electricity by investing in a good quality power conditioner. Furman are highly respected but expensive, although there are cheaper makes that should still be able to do the job.
  9. @spaceatl answered in your other thread when he explained: "You need to put a dummy plug in the guitar input of the Flextone to turn the power amp mute off. I have a 3XL...FYI, the flextone powers up with the FX Loop enabled...shortboard isn't needed...However, it is still a good idea to save the flextone patch with the loop on in case you bump a patch button."
  10. Have you upgraded Pod Go to the latest version? If so, it sounds like a possible software file-path corruption and I'd recommend re-setting it back to factory settings.
  11. Yup, that's exactly how I'll be using Pod Go once live gigging in the UK becomes an option again. I also have a Headrush FRFR108 which is superb with Pod Go and is incredibly loud for its compact size...never mind as a monitor, for pub/smaller club gigs its plenty loud for being backline facing the audience. I might even get a second one! In fact, I haven't used a guitar amp for years, as both at rehearsal and gigging I put my Vox Tonelab SE straight through the PA mixer. The TLSE is a superb heavy duty gigging MFX unit, but its quite big and heavy, and is circa the same overall size and weight of the full Helix Floor. I bought Pod Go for its small footprint, very light weight, modern Helix tones and features.
  12. Never even noticed that! Is it the same for other fx with different shades?
  13. Possibly. But in my opinion you either include a more practical functional looper that would do what most folk would reasonably expect from a looper, or drop it. For me personally this halfway house looper is near useless and although I tried it, I won't use it.
  14. I think that's a fair point @silverhead - when I think of a looper, I think of it for live use. Based on @silverhead comment above, I can understand how it might be used. But whenever I've tried to use it I've found it far too limiting. As you rightly say, it doesn't bother me it's there but I was simply thinking about freeing up that section in Pod Go that might then give room for things like Snap and multi-switch naming (probably the most requested feature request from Pod Go users), ability to see F7/F8 on screen or using F7/F8 for patch up/down control when you are in 6-stomp mode. But if the looper was put in to meet customer demand/feedback, then I understand. But I think your reference to the DL4 (which I've used) is a little over-simplistic, because it isn't a copy of the DL4 from a functionality perspective. To clarify, the thing about the DL4 is it's purpose designed to be used externally - the problem with the way the looper functionality has been built into Pod Go makes it very unuser friendly. Even for the uses highlighted by @silverhead you have to specifically program it into each patch, it uses up a valuable FX block, and you can't do things with it that you can with the DL4. So yes, the DL4 is a proper looper - but although the looper in Pod Go might be based on it, it can't be used like a DL4. When I had a Zoom G5, one of its advantages over the G5n was that you could use the looper globally and it would let you change patches and switch on/off effects from any patch which made it so much easier to use. So, in my view the Pod Go looper is a half-way house and I suspect most users would likely have expected it to be more flexible than it actually is. I love the Pod Go, but I dislike its limited and clumsy looper functionality - YMMV of course.
  15. I think the looper set-up in Pod Go is dreadful and next to useless - goodness knows what Line 6 was thinking here. I would be more than happy to see it removed in exchange for other features. For those requiring a looper I think you would be much better off with an external controllable looper that meant you could easily and independently switch between any patches and effects in Pod Go and without having to lose an FX block and having to program the looper in the same way in each patch you want to use the looper - which might often mean losing an FX where your patch is using 4 FX blocks. I think it's a no-brainer. I used to have a Boss RC3 but sold it - I might look around for an inexpensive external looper.
  16. I have a pair of studio monitoring quality Audio Technica ATH M50X headphones that are superb. Comes with pouch and 3 leads, long and short straight and a coiled lead.
  17. There's a much easier way. Set FS2 to turn off the fx loop set by default, and set it to main output level and adjust to eg +3dB. In stomp mode the label will show level. Stomp for volume boost. This gives a clean volume boost regardless of what other fx are on or off and leaves your fx loop free if you want to use it on another patch. Or if you connect external footswitch to FS7/8, you can use that for the volume boost without having to go into stomp mode.
  18. Interesting. If you could possibly open up a ticket and send a copy of your back up to Line 6, that might help them replicate and figure out the problem.
  19. Thanks, did as you suggest and opened up a new ticket, providing 3 backups for them to look at - 1st, 2nd & 6th September
  20. I'd hoped that the last firmware update fixed the problems in Pod Go. But I had a worrying problem with my Pod Go today. All of a sudden whilst I was playing the volume slowly started to fade out until all audio was gone. At first I thought it was a glitch in the patch. But it happened with all the patches I switched to. So I reset back to factory and reloaded my backup which fixed it. But my concern is that this should not have happened and again raises questions about Pod Go stability and reliability for gigging. I think Pod Go is brilliant and I love it. But if I can't trust it at a gig then it may have to go.
  21. It's much easier using Pod Go Edit. Set up snap 1 and save your patch. Go to Snap 2 and set up as you need, and save patch again.
  22. Line 6 are well aware that this is the upgrade most everyone wants. You can vote for it on ideascale.
  23. Not at the moment but this and the ability to name multi parameter settings are the two biggest things Pod Go users want. We can only hope Line 6 are listening & can add this to Pod Go.
  24. Yes - In the manual there is a list of all the amp models and FX options. There are 9 Marshall options (and 2 'Park' that were an offshoot of Marshall). If you opt for the Jumped Plexi model it uses up about 42% of your DSP, so depending on what FX you might want to add, you might experience some limitations depending on how DSP hungry your selected effects use - but if you use pre-amp rather than amp ( parameters not quite as wide) you can save on your DSP . See here (under 'PG' column) to see how much DSP each model uses: https://benvesco.com/store/helix-dsp-allocations/
