  1. EUROTUBES.COM has a retube kit http://www.eurotubes.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=600. It made my amp sound amazing.
  2. TOP SECRET leak, Line 6 is working on the new "SpiderValve MKIII" with HELIX internals. J/K :P
  3. The Idea I had in mind was that it would be nice to have it as a all in one tube amp, You know like the "SPIDER VALVE" but with HELIX guts.
  4. I'm assuming that you are aware that this amp has a previous condition regarding "Processors " and I'm thinking that you purchase it hoping for a low cost fix. You can try a factory reset and if you still have no results then a factory servicing might be the only way, Good Luck hope this fixes it.
  5. take to a music shop and hopefully they can help you connect it to a "Speaker cab" correctly, assuming you did that, and if there is still no sound maybe they can diagnose it for you.
  6. will there be any models for the pod hd pro rack system.?
  7. I'm using the Pod HD pro into a Carvin DCM200L bridge into a Marshall 1960B with T75's. I've tried all the output setting modes and the one that sounded best for live setting was the "Studio/Direct" . In the pods amp mixer Volumes "A" and "B" are turn up to +10db each side and the "Pans" A and B are at 0% which is Centered. p.s. XLR cable(s) are use for connection(s), I'm running in mono, but it also can run in stereo.
  8. Try that maybe that's what it needs.
  9. Great, and hears a tip. Your using one cab so you have a Mono setup, I too had issues with volumes and my setup was stereo out to stereo in of my power amp and stereo out into stereo 8 ohms L and 8 ohms R of my cab. For some reason it didn't work right, I had low sound, tone was a bit off and it sounding like I was hearing it from far away. After many weeks of seeking Forum knowledge, nothing. So here's what I did Rewired everything into Mono mode, channel 1 output of the pod is mono ,so connected here to channel 1 input of the stereo power amp which I bridge to mono and used the channel 1 amp output (16 ohms) into 16ohm input of my cab. Sorry about going into detail, but wait there's more. On the Pod in the mixer block, I had to Pan everything Hard LEFT 100% into the Pods output channel and that's what worked for me. next time when your playing try Panning 100% to your output and see what it gets you.
  10. First of all you have the Wrong Amp. ART SLA-1 has no 1/4" output jack, that makes me assume that you are using Bare speaker wire instead of "Speaker Cable". I don't know how your connecting amp to the speaker cab, but if your using household speaker wire, then that's what your doing wrong. I use a Carvin DCM200L and its loud.. And it has the output's for the speaker cabinet.
  11. need to replace or retighten the cabinet speaker jack.
  12. You need to "PAN" your left and right controls 100% to the output channel of your POD. I have a Carvin Solid state amp that I run in MONO bridged, and my CH1 output from the Pod is Mono and I have a cable from here to the Mono channel of the amp and the output is 16 ohm. like you I had low output and the reason was that I had my Pod panned to the wrong output channel. Your Behringer says 8ohm output per ch. brigde, maybe take a look at the Manuel and double check your connections.
  13. It's the firmware upgrade that's causing your problems, I had to return 4 spiders valves all which I had made the mistake upgrading to V2.0 which ruin the distortion character modes.
  14. Also most of the effects on the pod are in Mono, maybe im wrong but if the preset effects are in Stereo then I'll try re routing my amp in stereo and go 100% Right and 100% Left and let you guys know or if so you let me know how this works out, Good Luck.
  15. On your HD volume's outputs Pan both A & B to 100% LEFT, that will be mono going into your SS amp (bridged) mode to get the full signal flow of the HD. I have the Carvin DCM 200l amp that im using in mono bridge 200 Watts, and its input requires the use of channel 1 for bridging. I made the mistake of going centered volumes on ch 1 and 2 on the HD and the result was either loss or no signal from ch 2 cuz it was offset on center and needed to be directed LEFT to get the full effect.
  16. I had the same problems for a year and hears the solution********* the POD HD PRO is in ******* "STEREO"********* and you need to Adjust your "L" all the way hard "LEFT" not on center and your "R " all the way to hard "LEFT" . on the lcd display there's an icon right after the amp model, click on it and you see Volume A and B and "" PAN "" A and B ...Pan everything to the "LEFT" 100% which is going into channel "1" output of the Pod and the signal is now correct . That's right just like me I was only getting half the signal cuz the Right channel was completely left out and the Left channel was only half of the output or so. My setup is almost the same, Pod hd pro (mono-"L") into a Carvin DCM200L (solid state) into a Marshall 1960B GT75's and now it sounds great. Only thing now is that im not to sure about the STACK POWER AMP setting cuz it also sounds good on DIRECT mode setting too.... Line6 give us a straight answer on Output Settings for SOLID STATE AMPS, Matrix ,Carvin,Crown ect. ect. Thank You
