  1. Yes, the USER setlist contains the single copy of the actual preset. Same with the Factory presets except they can’t be deleted. A custom setlist contains pointers to specific presets (aliases) not a copy of the preset.
  2. Not a sucker at all. Just a consumer who chooses to purchase a product because it offers value to them. I too will get a D-10. Perhaps not a good analogy, but what about ‘all inclusive’ vacations? Alcohol drinkers love the fact that abstainers subsidize their drinking. Abstainers often avoid these packages for that reason. Maybe some day the packages will exclude alcohol (still available ant additional cost) and the price for the package will drop. Drinkers will still pay to drink. (I’m not calling us alcoholics!).
  3. There have been many discussions here about that and I can’t hope to summarize in a reasonable amount of time. Try searching the entire forum here. I will spend a few minutes doing the same and will post again with any useful links I come across.
  4. The first thing I notice is that your firmware is well out of date. It’s entirely possible that you’ve come across a bug of some sort that has since been fixed. Update your firmware to the latest version. There won’t be many users here that can test what you’re describing and comment on it. If you don’t want to update you can open a support ticket. But I expect the first thing they’ll say is “Update your firmware”.
  5. I’m not sure what you mean by this. With the ASIO driver installed you can continue to use your DAW with Stadium, and you can continue to use the Helix Native plug-in.
  6. If you right click on that device can you proceed to use it anyway?
  7. Or…. You can use the Showcase feature in Stadium when it arrives. You will be able to create Songs with up to 8 tracks. They will be stored permanently and exist outside of any preset. You can also use Markers in the Song to change setlists, presets, and Snapshots at any Song location. Re: your desire that the Looper be ‘outside’ a patch. There’s no such thing as processing outside a patch. Incoming signals (from guitar or whatever) are processed in patches containing the processing blocks. How would you record a processed sound without a patch containing the Looper block? What I think would be cool is to have the Looper integrated into the Showcase/Song feature so that every time you recorded a Loop, including overdubs, you would have the option to Save it as a new Song with each overdub being a separate track. That way you can decide immediately after a particularly inspirational looping moment to keep it without having to hookup your DAW before leaving the preset. Perhaps that will be a new feature someday!
  8. You’ll find it in the Blocks section in the first Tip box.
  9. That’s up to you, of course. But the vast majority of Stadium buyers will appreciate the lower price.
  10. Perhaps someday. Helix Native only became available some time after Helix was released. No promises from Line 6 though.
  11. It will be available but will require additional hardware, the Expand D-10 device.
  12. STFW means Search the F*&$ Website! I just want to highlight that Line 6 has taken a new approach to the product manual for Helix Stadium. It is not a downloadable PDF file. Instead, it is its own integrated, cross-referenced, well indexed, searchable website that includes links to videos where appropriate. It also includes the Helix Stadium app ‘manual’. The Support -> Manuals area provides a link to this new ‘manual’. I strongly suggest you check it out. For your convenience… https://line6.com/helix-stadium-manual/ We all know that it is common etiquette in user forums to do at least some research for existing answers to questions, especially basic operational questions, before asking in the forum. This new approach to the manual makes that very simple. So, in future, rather than suggesting that someone RTFM I will just say (politely, of course) STFW.
  13. Check the Global Settings. There’s one that controls how pedal position is managed.
  14. I will probably do this over time, one preset at a time. I find that the improvement in tonal quality and dynamics of the Agoura amps is worth it but as you point out it would be an arduous task if you took it on all at once.
  15. The online manual lists all models. The list specifies the Agoura amp models.
  16. A brief audio gap is unavoidable as a new preset is loaded using a single DSP processor. This isn’t just a Helix or Line 6 issue; it’s a technical reality. It takes a few ms to load new data into one fixed memory space and all computers/processors experience it. Helix is able to avoid this beause it is a dual processor device. Line 6 has implemented a feature called Preset Spillover in Helix that eliminates the gap. However, it’s costly from a DSP perspective. It requires that a user sacrifice 50% of DSP capacity - one of the two processors and the dual-path preset structure. When this feature is enabled a new preset is loaded into the unused processor/path while the used processor continues to operate. Hence no gap. The Preset Spillover feature is not (yet?) implemented in Helix Stadium.
  17. You’re not missing it. It’s just not there yet. I expect it will be but no idea when.
  18. There’s a banner on this page just above the topic title that provides some interesting info on preset transfers. It doesn’t mention exactly what you are referencing but it’s handy to know anyway.
  19. Well done figuring this out and thanks for sharing it. It also took me a while to get the various display options sorted out to my satisfaction. Stadium is a beast!
  20. The official way to report a bug is to open a support ticket. Follow the Support link at the top of this page to Contact Support.
  21. You could also use the POD Go in front of your amp, instead of in its FX Loop. In that case, connect your guitar to the POD Go Guitar input and connect the POD Go Amp Out jack to your amp’s guitar input.
  22. In addition to connecting the cables as described did you also set the POD Go Main output level to Instrument (or Amp)?
