New computer / new liscence
silverhead replied to BassBassHerb's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
No but you may need to authorize your computer. Update your Line 6 account to add your new computer and run the Line 6 License Manager utility. -
AMPLIFi FX100 – Remote App Won’t Sync After Firmware Update
silverhead replied to max54lowes's topic in AMPLIFi
Check to see if there was an associated app update. -
Is the AMPLIFi series essentially abandonware at this point?
silverhead replied to tofu159mac's topic in AMPLIFi
If you mean will it receive any further updates the answer is almost certainly no. -
Helix Native - Bought license but only opens Trial Version
silverhead replied to Fusoya's topic in Helix Native
Make sure you are logged into your Line 6 account within Helix Native (see bottom left corner of HN window). Then HN will be able to see the license in your account just like you can. -
Save to Hardware will overwrite it.

Your ‘Hmmm’ suggests you may not be satisfied with the fact of it. But I think the design reflects the fact that a Reverb FX is generally more DSP intensive than your average Delay or Mod FX. Accordingly, allowing more than one Reverb FX would really restrict available remaining DSP for the other Flex blocks. At the end of the day it’s all about DSP capacity, and the Firehawk FX design prevents a second Reverb FX because it would likely cost two Flex FX blocks. The preset would become very handcuffed. Just my assumptions about DSP management reflected in the design.

I built an AI (Chat GPT) powered helper to help build Helix guitar tones
silverhead replied to jdragon80's topic in Helix
Interesting analogy, but the producer in the studio is capable of creative, non-regenerative, thinking and musical ideas. Will AI-generated songs, being grounded in exisiting material, stand up to copyright issues? Has this been tested in courts yet? -
Someone copied your post in a lazy and uncreative attempt to make a first time post here, which requires moderator approval. Their post contains a hidden link (at least really small font) which I expect they hope will drive traffic to an external site. That’s been a recent trend here in moderator world and we try to be on the lookout for it. The post should not have been approved since it violates the Terms of Use here but the link is easily overlooked.

No. The Reverb block is one of the Fixed blocks and you can’t assign a Reverb model to any of the Flex blocks.

I am wondering what the motivation would be for doing this? The device will come with a power supply, and I suspect using a different power supply would void the warranty. I suppose if the original supplies fail routinely and replacements are overly expensive it would make sense, but that’s very presumptive at this point. Also I expect that Stadium, like Helix, has an internal power supply not a wall wart. It will use a standard 3-prong power cord. The internal fittings are proprietary. You’re not likely to get an answer from Line 6 on this.

Yes, you can Save a preset to any of the 128 locations. From the manual: NOTE: An unlimited number of Presets can be downloaded, created, edited, saved and rearranged on your device using the mobile app! See more details in the following Firehawk Remote App section. ………. To Save to a Different Bank and Preset Location: While in Save Mode, navigate to the desired Bank and Preset location by tapping the Bank Up/Bank Down footswitch, and then tapping the Preset Select footswitch for your preferred Preset location. The location number and title of the Preset that currently resides in this location is shown in the flashing LCD Display. Press and hold the Preset Select footswitch assigned to this location to replace the location’s current Preset with your edited Preset.
-
Usually no. Once you save the preset in the same location all earlier versions are overwritten. Unless you have made a backup of the preset in its intermediate state all changes are lost. Some product editors, like HX Edit, have an Undo/Redo feature that supports what you want.
-
The message indicates that the preset is a protected asset, likely purchased from Line 6 Marketplace. Seems Helix Native does not recognize the license. Log into your Line 6 account within Helix Native and try again.

There are no non-Agoura amps in Stadium.

Oh… your initial post mentioned lack of CC support with no mention of PC.

Not sure what you mean. There is a section in the Helix Native manual describing parameter automation features, including midi automation. Please describe what you want to do beyond those capabilities.

I think (not 100%sure) the LT comes with a hex wrench to adjust the nut on the side of the volume pedal. Might just need a physical adjustment.

Contact Line 6 Support. They can remove some of the now obsolete authorizations and get you below the limit again.

Sometimes those knobs can get a bit stuck because the edge can make contact with the guitar body. A common solution is to gently pry the knobs off the shaft (use a couple of spoons with a cloth beneath them to prevent damage to the body), stick a small wad of paper into the bottom of the knob, and replace it onto the shaft. This has the overall affect of raising the knob above the guitar body just enough to prevent the sticking.

I am testing with my MK49 connected via usb on Windows 11. Line 6 Central does not see it, as you say. However in Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers I see the MK49 listed. Also it is visible in my DAW (Cakewalk Sonar). That means it is recognized as a midi device for practical applications. Monkey/Central would only be required if you want to update the firmware. The last firmware release was v1.04 in was Feb 2012. I doubt that you need Monkey or Central to use your MK25.

Select that and see if the driver version is the same. If so use it.
