  1. Hey ya'll, I searched the forums for this exact question and haven't had any luck yet. I'm still fairly new to the HX Stomp. I wish to move through the Presets (i.e. 35b, 35c, 36a, 37b, etc), while in stompbox mode, with my foot instead of bending down to turn the top wheel. Is that possible with an external pedal of some kind, or is there a way within the Stomp itself? Maybe I completely missed this in the manual. Thanks!
  2. I'm making the transition from the Boss GT-100 to the HD 500. One of the things I LOVED about the GT was its ability to switch patches and THEN toggle the individual effects on and off inside your new patch. Switch patch and then go into stompbox mode. Having trouble figuring out how to do that on the HD. From what I understand you have to be in ABCD mode to toggle between patches and 5-8 mode to toggle FX on and off. Is there a way to switch modes on the fly like on the Boss unit - change patch and then go into stompbox mode?
  3. Hey all, I know this is a common topic but I still haven't found a satisfying answer so I'm going to ask it... How can I remove the tone coloring that occurs on the HD500X when in stompbox mode and all effects (and amp models) are OFF? I can tell when I go to the tuner and use the bypass mode that with all effects off, the 500X is still affecting my tone. In tuner bypass mode, the signal to amp is dry and unaffected do the 500x *should* be capable of not coloring my signal. In regular play, with all fx off and the amp model disabled, the tone is darker and the signal is weaker. This is really frustrating because what I wanted the 500X is for it's stompbox effects not an amp modeler. I know about the 4 cable method and using the modeling for the preamp toy amp, but that will be a last resort. I just really want the effects and my amp's tone! Please help! 4. Hey guys, I just bought the Helix LT a few days ago and I just started playing with it. I made some presets via the pc editor but I realized that when I switch to stompbox mode no effects are shown. Can anybody help me?
  5. Hi, I just bought a Pod HD300 and, when I use in in "stompbox" mode, while the AMP, FX1 and FX2 switches work as they should, the FX3 switch acts funny. When pressed, it not only activates the FX3 assigned effect, it also activates FX1 and 2 at the same time. I've updated the firmware and the flash memory but nothing happened. Did someone else run into this problem too?
