mcnitt
A way to control display brightness, please! I often play at night and find the Helix displays too bright. Thinking about creating some gel overlays for the displays (or modding the circuit board) but shouldn't have to do this. Thank you!

Charlie_Watt
Just kidding. Better to put the sunglasses on the Helix.

mileskb
Actually... doesn't power-on while holding pedal #2 bring up a screeen to adjust the brightness, or is it under the power-on while holding #4 + #5 menu. I swear I have seen it somewhere, but rather well hidden..... ironically.
duncann
If you hold switch 2 while powering up you get a mode to screw with the LED colors and brightness, but nothing for the main screen. Could that be what you're thinking of?
DarrellM5
I'm not sure if Line 6 can implement this or not but it's worth a try. In the mean time, some people are running screen protectors. Maybe there are some that are tinted or the material might be available to make your own.

danbottomburp
I often have the helix on so I can just listen to Spotify or other music through my monitor speakers It's at times like that I'd like an option to just turn the helix display off completely

Hi, You could construct some sort of makeshift “sun shade” as a temporary measure, for example a modified old cardboard box should do the job. For a more permanent solution you might want to check this out:- https://www.gearbyceba.com/line6-family-usa/p/helix-sun-shield-splash-guards-usa The site belongs to Chad Boston, who is an official Line 6 Ambassador, and the founder of the Facebook group “Line 6 Helix Family User Group OFFICIAL and Original”. https://line6.com/support/topic/43254-line-6-cs-ambassadors/ Hope this helps/makes sense.
