Feature request: Adjustable Helix display brightness

A way to control display brightness, please!

I often play at night and find the Helix displays too bright.

Thinking about creating some gel overlays for the displays (or modding the circuit board) but shouldn't have to do this.

Thank you!

Actually...  doesn't power-on while holding pedal #2 bring up a screeen to adjust the brightness, or is it under the power-on while holding  #4 + #5 menu.  I swear I have seen it somewhere, but rather well hidden..... ironically.

I'm not sure if Line 6 can implement this or not but it's worth a try.  In the mean time, some people are running screen protectors.  Maybe there are some that are tinted or the material might be available to make your own.

I have an upcoming outdoor gig, and noticed during outdoor recent rehearsal the display and button lights all were nearly invisible in the broad daylight.
it would be great if could increase the brightness for outdoor venues thru software update.
thanks.

Hi,

You could construct some sort of makeshift “sun shade” as a temporary measure, for example a modified old cardboard box should do the job. For a more permanent solution you might want to check this out:-

Hope this helps/makes sense.
