stanwas
Is it possible to transpose/downtune in Helix? Kind of like in the case of Digitech Drop.
Digital_Igloo
DigiTech's Drop does polyphonic pitch shifting, which Helix doesn't currently have. Try assigning a Pitch/Synth > Simple Pitch block to a momentary footswitch.
jbuhajla
Like DI says though, the simple pitch block is not polyphonic just so you are aware.

cruisinon2
Lol...Good afternoon, folks! I'd like to welcome you all to another episode of "Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don't"...;) I eagerly await the wild speculation about a forthcoming (?) polyphonic pitch-shifter which is sure to follow... jbuhajla
TC Electronic Polytune has a polyphonic tuner, just saying... If we are going to speculate, might as well start a crap storm.
MusicLaw
DI typically selects his words carefully. Nonetheless, he has been known to fan the fire. Polyphonic Helix capabilities have been a frequent request on IdeaScale and have been mentioned in plenty of discussions on the various Helix forums. Time will tell. In the meanwhile (before 2.4 or 3.0 arrive), why not be optimistic?
hideout
I wonder if Line6 would prefer to develop their own tech for pitch detection tech or license one from these guys. https://ivlaudio.com
Digital_Igloo
Helix also doesn't currently have cappuccino machine. :D

jbuhajla
Helix also doesn't currently have cappuccino machine. :D Well that's bullcrap. Nice to know that you pretty much just hate all your customers. We know Ben Adrian could model one in about 4 days.

MusicLaw
Nice cover DI! :) Ah, yes! With the nearly endless adjectives describing sounds tones, who is to say that nobody has ever depicted what they are trying to get tone wise out of a Helix Preset configuration is as smooth, rich, robust, and almost a coffee-like creamy cappucino/latte tone. ;) I'm comfortable letting my optimism persist, to see what Helix 2018 brings.... Ichil
I said Helix doesn't currently have a cappuccino machine. Do you mind implementing a switch to select Italian cappuccino? :)
jbuhajla
Now that's just silly.

Now he could specify Global Settings > Territory ;)

karlic
Pitch Whammy does fine on single note riffs, but sadly you need The Drop in a loop for chords. I do have one, but then you need to adjust The Drop for different intervals and it is a pain to remember at a show.
