Having the same problem, running Win 10 and just performed a clean install. First time trying to access Line 6 since the hard drive swap. Line 6 Monkey cannot access the server and eventually times out.

Ditto here... Tried some work-arounds with no luck. Socket time out when "Check for Updates" is clicked in Monkey. License Manager is more of the same "Server not responding (connection timed out). Code 8000204e.

Same here, and this is a day later than the original post. What's up Line 6?

Also experiencing this issue. Occurs with 1.74 and 1.72 monkey. Guessing a server is down.

Whatever it is, nobody from L6 is gonna answer you in here... this is a user forum. Open a support ticket... that they'll respond to.

I got a response. "I apologize for the delay. You may access your bundle by running our software Line 6 License Manager. Unfortunately, we must apologize as the servers pertaining to this software are currently undergoing maintenance. This issue should be resolved shortly. "
All of my drivers and software are up to date but since the licensed manager can't connect I can't access the complete bundle. Thanks for the workaround solution, but it doesn't address the problem I'm having.

I thought I was having the same problem. So I just did the long wait and finally it connected and opened. Just taking a LOT longer than usual.

why you don't read and try it?... it's not that difficult
I'm not even getting it to recognize the Pod XTLive or the Variax--tried both 1.72 and 1.74

you can flash the firmware in offline mode, ie go to the DOWNLOAD section of this site, choose your device, choose flash memory, and your operating system, and save the latest firmware file on your desktop..
then disconnect you computer from internet otherwise the monkey app will hung forever if the L6 servers are not responding and the internet connection is active,
with the device connected, open the monkey app, when it recognizes your device, select Flash Memory and press Update From File button, and when asked where is the firmware file, point to the one previously saved on your desktop, and let the procedure start and finish
I would love to try this particular method, except Monkey will not recognize my HD500x. For some reason, when the servers are disconnected, it will only recognize devices that have been recognized during a previous load (when the network was able to connect). So, I cannot even offline flash my firmware. :( Hopefully they get this server back up soon. I've even tried using VPN's , hoping that an EU or JPN line6 server would connect...no dice.

Is this happening again?
None of my Line6 products will connect to server. No problem logging in on the website, just Licence manager and Monkey wont log in.
I know it's happened in the past... and it seems to have happened again. My line 6 Monkey cannot connect to Line 6 Servers. I tried the three older methods of "fixing" the problem by uninstalling/reinstalling (including a registry clean). I also tried to deleting content of the app data folder (windows 7), as well downgrading to various older versions of Monkey. No joy. I'd really like to flash my new HD500x with the latest firmware... any help?
