jasonahoule Posted 13 hours ago Share Posted 13 hours ago I have been using the stomp to send midi messages to a laptop to trigger sound effects and audio clips. During my bands practice last night it just stopped working. I have verified with two different laptops and multiple software that the stomp is no longer sending midi over usb. I have triple checked the config parameters and everything is as it should be, I have replaced the cable, and I even tried a factory reset. Does anyone have any other trouble shooting ideas? rd2rk Posted 11 hours ago Share Posted 11 hours ago Are all of your computers Windows 11? A recent update (maybe several) caused the problem. On one of my W11 boxes the problem was caused by a ".net Framework" update (KB5092427). Rolling back to a restore point previous to that update and preventing Windows Update from reinstalling it fixed the problem. On another W11 box I didn't have a similar restore point and simply uninstalling (KB5092427) didn't fix it.
