  • Modulation > Dimension W, based on the BOSS DC-2W Waza Craft

New Features in 1.4

  • USB Editing - In addition to Wi-Fi, 1.4 now lets you connect the Helix Stadium app over a USB cable.
  • Showcase > Stem Separation - When importing a single audio file to Helix Stadium's Showcase engine, you may now choose to split it into up to five separate stereo stems.
  • Showcase > Skip Marker - Sections of a song can now be automatically skipped over.
  • Proxy Clones > Nested Folders - You may now organize Proxy clones into nested folders.
  • Swap Mono/Stereo Effects - You can now quickly swap between the mono and stereo version of an effect, and your settings are retained.
  • MIDI Control of Matrix > ¼", XLR, and Phones Layers - Each Matrix layer channel's Level, Pan, Mute, and Solo now has a dedicated MIDI CC.

Improvements/Bug Fixes in 1.4

  • Numerous improvements and many, many bug fixes

See the full Helix Stadium Release Notes at line6.com for details.

- USB Stadium App Connectivity. ("useful where there is no available Wifi where you are at.") Unknown yet if Wifi is any more stable. Of course, you should blame your Wifi signal first - just FYI.

- DSP improvements (unusually specific, Huh?). I will not bother testing this until 1.5, which is "just around the corner" (D-10 anyone???)

- Nothing yet for Variax Owners.

Can not stop laughing that they named the new "Litigator" the "Prosecutor."

Glad they added some sorting to Proxy Clones. My list is getting crowded and it will be much easier to choose a clone from a folder instead of scrolling through a giant list.

I think the "Louder than Variax" people are the ones with WiFi issues since they added USB support with this update (which does make perfect sense...I haven't had any wifi issues, but I think that's a much bigger deal than Variax support).

My honest guess regarding 1.5 is NAM implementation and then 1.6 will have D10 support. They said in the release notes that 1.5 won't be what you expect and they (Eric) have (has) said that 1.5 will be the D10 firmware update. I think it might have been bumped again.
