Improvements/Bug Fixes in 1.4 Numerous improvements and many, many bug fixes See the full Helix Stadium Release Notes at line6.com for details. - USB Stadium App Connectivity. ("useful where there is no available Wifi where you are at.") Unknown yet if Wifi is any more stable. Of course, you should blame your Wifi signal first - just FYI. - DSP improvements (unusually specific, Huh?). I will not bother testing this until 1.5, which is "just around the corner" (D-10 anyone???) - Nothing yet for Variax Owners.
adflaker
Can not stop laughing that they named the new "Litigator" the "Prosecutor." Glad they added some sorting to Proxy Clones. My list is getting crowded and it will be much easier to choose a clone from a folder instead of scrolling through a giant list. I think the "Louder than Variax" people are the ones with WiFi issues since they added USB support with this update (which does make perfect sense...I haven't had any wifi issues, but I think that's a much bigger deal than Variax support). My honest guess regarding 1.5 is NAM implementation and then 1.6 will have D10 support. They said in the release notes that 1.5 won't be what you expect and they (Eric) have (has) said that 1.5 will be the D10 firmware update. I think it might have been bumped again. PaulTBaker
so is there a new Helix Stadium Edit software update? I'm not seeing it. and the new stuff is not showing in version1.3.
GiancarloGomez
The labels on the Stadium App all display Helix Stadium (USB) instead of WiFi, Ethernet, and then USB when active. Even when I disable Prefer USB Connection the labels are still wrong. screenshot-20261013-165254@2x.webp screenshot-20261013-165518@2x.webp
bbehrens
Yes On 10/13/2026 at 4:12 PM, PaulTBaker said: so is there a new Helix Stadium Edit software update? I'm not seeing it. and the new stuff is not showing in version1.3.3 In short: Yes. Open up the Helix Stadium App and it should notify you of a new update if you are logged in to your Line 6 account. Stadium and Stadium XL should be at the same version level as the Stadium App Editor. I would not use them unless they were the same... er, at least close as Line 6 HAS released minor updates which were a little different in the past. Please see the Line 6 update procedure for specific instructions. And no, I don't know where they are. I updated the App to 1.4 and then used Line 6 Central to update Helix Stadium. All was smooth. The update process is one area that Line 6 has down pretty well now. Though I would make a full Stadium backup before updating anything! msj12345
Not sure if anyone else has seen this but I updated last night and no issues at all. However, when I switched it on today it could not connect to the internet. Rebooted a few things on my network in desperation to no avail and then tried by tethering to my phone and voila it worked. Went back to wifi and that then worked too! Later on I noticed that the time zone had reverted to a USA one (UK here) so have a feeling that was more than likely the issue. Anyone else seen this? On another note, I have never had the wifi disconnection issues but now it won't connect or stay connected for more than about 30 seconds so thank god for the new USB tethering :). Nothing has changed on my network and I have rebooted most of it

Nothing has changed on my network and I have rebooted most of it I had the same problem. The Stadium had a good wifi signal, but I got a "disconnected from internet" message when I tried to log in. When I corrected the day/time it all worked again. Why can't Stadium remember the time, even when it is set to automatically use internet time? Once I had done the updates, and connected a USB cable, the editor app connected via USB straight away.
silverhead
I used to have frequent app disconnects using WiFi. I have not had a single one since switching to USB connection.
bbehrens
Stadium App lost Wifi Connection after sitting idle for a while. Strange, since it was connected via USB. This can be confirmed in the Stadium Editor at the top left (It kinda looks like a USB port - Not a Wifi Icon when connected via USB, which it should prefer by default). I wonder if there is a timeout on the USB 2.0 in Windows 11 (25H2). I have not updated to 26H2 yet due to hardware issues with 25H2 early on. New 1.4 update - new 1.4 bugs I guess. (Actually, I will not call it a bug unless I can reproduce it so I know what to tell Line 6).
