  1. So now there's HIRB, a Helix IR Browser, lets you see which presets use the IRs contained in a collection of Helix setlist files. Purely browser based, nothing to download or install Doesn't modify your files, just shows information about them Doesn't upload them, processing happens right in the browser Pretty much zero risk, can't corrupt your files or anything Hopefully it's pretty self-explanatory, ask here (or on TGP) if not, I'll be around when I can be. One caveat: This does look at snapshots, switches, even continuous controllers. However, it has no way of knowing whether a patch is intended to use 4 snapshots or 8, so if snapshots are in play, it'll report the IRs for all of them, even ones you never use. I think it's not really an issue, but I (or someone?) need to do more research on how snapshots you've never accessed report themselves. Copious free time... Another thing. Frank from Line 6 was going to post about this on the FB Helix group, but I'm not on FaceBook and don't want to be. So, could you guys who are be my eyes and ears there, let me know if folks there have any great ideas I should know about, hit problems, find it useful/useless, etc.. Let me know what you think.

  2. Hi Graemey, I ran into this issue as well wit the PC+. The Helix by default sends PC (program change) info whenever you change presets. Go into Global Settings>MIDI/Tempo>MIDI PC Send/Receive. Turn this OFF. Set your desired Midi channel and program change # in the Command Center. Just select one of the lightning bolt instant switches and set the MIDI channel and PC#. See the manual for reference info. Apparently when the Helix automatically sends PC and your assigned MIDI data there must be some contention issue causing the lockup. Cheers, bobruz

  3. Hi All, I just got a Relay G10 (Receiver and Transmitter). I plugged in the receiver via the wall plug, and it pulses red. I plug in the transmitter (firmly seated), which even after being plugged in overnight, does not light up or show any signs of working. If I plug in the usb to my PC and open the Line 6 Updater, it sees the base (now slow pulsing a pinkish color), at version 1.00. When I try to update it, it tells me there are no updates available, which I know is not true. Any advice on either front? I have a ticket opened, but am not getting a response (yet). :(

  4. I was concerned about volume before I bought my PC+. My band is very loud, but I'm having no problem keeping up with them. I do have the PC+ up as high as 3 o'clock at times, but that's as far as I've had to raise it.

  5. I was not the first to do this but I thought some people might be interested. Hyperspace Pedal Formula for Helix - Transistor Tape Delay best used in front of the amp. Expression Pedal will control Time, Feedback and Mix. Time (Toe - 50ms / Heal - 600ms), Feedback (Toe - 100% / Heal - 0%), Wow/Fletter - 3.6, Mix (Toe - 100% / Heal 0%), everything else leave the same and I highly recommend leaving Trails Off. Make sure you save the patch or snapshot in heal down. Enjoy!

  6. FYIF: 250K is a smaller load, less current required, to produce a given voltage for a source like passive pickups. Active pickups have active, battery powered, devices in them which allows them to drive larger loads (smaller resistance, more current) at the same voltage.

  7. Never met a patch that someone else created that worked for me.
