There are settings to specify which Outputs the Volume knob controls but you need to address this at the Input stage, not the Output stage. You can use the Global Settings -> Ins/Outs -> USB In 1/2 Trim parameter to reduce the level of the signal coming from your computer. Or you can manually reduce the Volume level of the signal coming from your computer using the computer’s audio settings. Either way the level of the incoming signal from your DAW can be balanced as desired with your guitar signal.

So, in HX Edit, from the MENU BAR, you select FILE>RESTORE FROM BACKUP, select a backup file and get that message? Or, in the restore dialog box you see the path to the backup folder and "Backup File: No Compatible files in selected folder" but when you use Explorer to go to the actual folder there are backup files there?

Problem solved, don't use an old, bundled license manager with pod farm 2, get the latest standalone license manager (1.16).....now working (monkey isn't, but that's not a biggie)

lol...Yeah, hanging names on stuff I'm never gonna look at is not exactly what I'd consider "time well spent". 😉
