Yes, I have set this up in my MIDI controller (homemade Arduino controller) and it’s working just like I had hoped. I have it setup so that when I switch to bank 2 on my controller, it puts the stomp in scroll mode so that I can select a new preset and the when I go back to bank one the stomp goes right to stomp mode.

Yes. Use the Stomp’s Command Center to assign the appropriate MIDI commands (as specified by your sampler) to the desired footswitches.

Actually yes! After looking at some older revisions of manuals for the stomp, it was listed in one of them CC#71 with a value of 0, 1, 2 or 3 will switch directly to the different views. 0=Stomp, 1=Scroll, 2=Preset and 3=Snapshot

Yes. Use the NoteOn command set to MIDI channel 10 (that's the only channel that the AKAI recognizes) in CommandCenter.

Not a function I've ever needed to use, but I also recalled that once upon a time that was possible. It's in the 3.0 manual, but not 3.80, which is when they added the CCs for the knobs. I'd assumed they'd dropped it. Sure enough, I just tried it from MIDIOX and it still works! @Digital_Igloo- take note! If there's ever a v4.0 and accompanying manual update, you might want to include this!

For those that have a Stomp and are interested, I uploaded my BE100 (Placater) dual amp preset to Custom Tone in the new Stomp section. It's both channels of the amp with a Clean, Crunch, and Gain snapshot using both amps and snapshots to do all the work. Note the cabinet it snapshotted pretty heavily also to change out mics, distances, etc - trying to get it sounding good to my ears as I could. Tested with my Les Paul (humbuckers), Fender Tele (single coils), and Suhr Modern T (humbuckers). Just with those three snapshots and your volume knob, it's pretty versatile. I like it. It may need some work for live gig volume, though. This is actually my first Custom Tone upload, so go easy on me. :-) Actually, scratch that - feel free to unload and tell me it sucks, it's just a preset after all. :-) EDIT: Oh - you may have to go into global preferences and reassign FS3 to be FS3 instead of the Tap/Tuner. You can always get back into the tuner by pressing "Action+Page Right" at the same time. Otherwise you might not be able to see Snapshot 3, which is the high-gain setting.
