  1. The MODE switch is always available. In PRESET MODE you can have ALL PRESETS, ALL SNAPSHOTS, any combination of PRESETS, SNAPSHOTS and/or STOMPS 4 each TOP or BOTTOM. The UP/DOWN switches can be BANKS, PRESETS or SNAPSHOTS. You can swap the UP/DOWN functions to DOWN/UP but you can't disable them in PRESET MODE. In STOMP MODE, if you have the full-fat Helix (not LT), then you can set it so that you have 10 STOMPS and no UP/DOWN switches. Using Command Center you can set switches (in STOMP MODE) to switch SNAPSHOTS, MOMENTARILY switch Snapshots (PRESS/RELEASE), or use one FS to go to any Snapshot from any other Snapshot ("stacking"). Example - FS1 in SS1 goes to SS3, in SS3 FS1 goes to SS8, in SS8 FS1 goes to SS6 etc. Using the PRESS/HOLD setting you can go to either of two Snapshots from one switch. You can also switch PRESETS, control external MIDI devices, swap channels on an amp, control a DAW, lots of other stuff.

  2. Forget about it. The filters in the HX series are all very weak and often sounding harsh. And yes, I wish that was different and there were modulators (in the first place envelopes controlled by input level) available. But then, most users rather want 92787 more obscure amp models instead of one single decent filter block.

  3. Not sure what you mean. Are you thinking that the JSON files must be manually edited? Not so. Loading a Helix Native preset saved in v2.59 will be automatically adjusted by Helix Native as it loads or is Saved. No manual editing required. If a preset is not loading properly it is due to another issue. Can you provide an example?

  4. What do y'all use for metronome/click while playing live with helix? I've tried all the workarounds like 3note generator with tremolo, etc. None have been really successful so far for me. I need to get a proper click sound on my IEMs while playing live and I want it to come through helix since all my delays/fx are mapped with the BPM on it. No, I'm not interested in an external midi source since I want my helix to be a one stop shop. I mean, I have a patch for each song on my helix and tempos are already programmed on it. For any additional midi device I'm adding points of failure. WHY DOESN'T LINE 6 CONSIDER ADDING METRONOME SOUND TO NOTE GENERATOR?? Does anyone echo with this issue? Any suggestions or ideas?
