  1. Make sure to set Global Settings > Preferences > EXP 2/EXT AMP to EXT AMP.

  2. Does this happen with all presets or only one/some? It sounds like there may be an FX block that you are not aware of. For instance, a Noise Gate block (embedded in the Helix LT Input block) can possibly have that effect. Examine each FX block in the preset(s). Begin by turning each block on/off until you find the one that is causing the effect. Then adjustt the parameter settings for that block to remove the unwanted effect.

  3. - Optimize the volume controls on your guitars. There's no single solution for anybody, I personally prefer using a treble bleed cap on most of my guitars. Other people like the socalled "50s wiring". And yet some others like it stock. - Don't overgain your sounds. Too much gain and the sound won't react too much to your playing and/or guitar volume and/or pickup switching. - Use a very dynamic amp. In the HX series, the Grammatico GSG is excellent. - If you want more "sustain" (it actually is decay, but hey...) without raising the amp gain, you might want to try a little compression before the amp. I like the legacy Vetta Comp for such stuff. - Get used to play accordingly. This is possibly the hardest part.

  4. What did they say when you opened a Support Ticket? ??????? They haven't stopped, there just hasn't been one lately. They're a little busy with Stadium, but there WILL be updates. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/helix-3-9-wishlist.2714547/post-42223469 Take a positive view. Open a Support Ticket. Even if it's out of warranty, they've been known to help anyway. For all you know it could be a known issue with a simple solution. TIP - be positive when asking for help. Nobody likes a negative Nancy.

  5. This could actually be a little easier to solve. Hello. I am a Japanese music producer. use translation. In my case, I got the 1116 error, yellow pick like everyone else, and couldn't load any presets. One solution is to first open setting and look at the [Hardware Compatibillity] column in the Current Hardware Compatibillity Mode tab. If it says Helix Floor~~~, click it to turn it off. User presets are initialized, but as soon as all the picks are taken and can be read, the error no longer occurs. I'm a Helix native only user. This works even if the initialization button is unresponsive.

  6. The Line 6 specs state the Powercab has a specially designed co-axial speaker, “ and a compression driver” In fact there is no additional separate compression driver. The compression driver fires through the centre of the 12” speaker in the way Tannoy and Altec originally designed, hence the “coaxial” term. Unfortunately the dust cap on the 12" speaker is acoustically pretty opaque (see the first photo), and the 12" cone isn't narrow enough to load the compression driver like a real horn or flare would. Consequently this design is a long way from being a true FRFR speaker, and its HF response is severely curtailed. I bought my PowerCab to use for both acoustic and electric amplification, but it falls well short as an acoustic amp. However, I am about to try replacing the "coaxial" design with a separate compression driver and horn to see if I can improve the HF response overall.
